OWWW. That was the most painful run I've done. Back was on fire for most of the bike, didn't get my brick due to two people falling in front of me, but got 6th in my AG, so I'm happy with that.

This was a fast field also, many experienced athletes.

I enjoyed that run a hell of a lot more than the eagleman run. I walked the steepest parts of the campground and firetower roads and still beat my eagleman run time by 16 minutes(but I definately overbiked eagleman causing the slow run time). I also think my weekly hill runs with Josh Beck have helped out a lot.
I soft pedaled going up the bottom of the wall so I had at least 15 yards of clear sailing in front of me when I got to the steepest part.

That race was a total hoot! Got my brick and just had a complete blast. The spectators were off the hook, especially on Killer Miller.

The run was slow, but not too bad. Nice cool temps.

In retrospect, I should have ridden my TT bike and not the road bike -- it would have helped especially with the head wind at the end.
