Our female lab died last year. Her name was Kaylee. My 5 year old was devastated so I went and got him a Shih Tzu with the same color and markings as our lab. My son's name is Billy. I took Billy and Kaylee, combined them to make Bailey...named the new dog Bailey.

Name her Kaylee in memorium...do it for the MacDaddy!! If not then I'll still love you unconditionally...

What is a nintendog?

Is that like nintendo??? do you have one of those chip pets?

Denise2003 - 2005-12-16 3:05 PM I voted for Tasha cus' it sounds like Sasha, my Nintendog (a huskie).

Nintendog is a virtual pet game I play on the Nintendo DS. Kind of like Tamagotchi of the past.

Wendy Ingraham's my favoritest-ever triathlete, and her nickname is "Wingnut." I think it'd be a great dog name.

You could add an "a" to the name like my lab Bella.

Well, since Ms. Ingraham is definitely a female...

And "wingnut" just means goofball...pretty reflective of the lab personality.

They do say to make it a two syllable name that ends in a vowel .... something about the dog reacted to it versus commands.

"Liela, sit."

"OFF, Liela!"

"Liela, COME!"

Damn dog chasing the deer again ......... wonder what she is going to do if she ever catches them ........

Thanks. She has a really good line that she comes from. And as I mentioned before, she is super fit. Almost Greyhound speed, but with more endurance. She isn;t even panting at the end of a three miler!

I bought her to be a show dog, but have had no chance to do it with her. My brother-in-law is a hunter and we have both commented on her hunting instincts. They are really defined, and with training she would make a top notch field dog we both think.

Just one more thing to put on my "to do" list (right along with the HIM, the new baby in April, the house we're building, finishing a friend of ours house design, etc. etc.).

I love Kona....and I think it is a chick name! In the hawaii theme, you could go with Pele, although she is the goddess of destruction/fire.

I almost named my cat Kona...how about Zipp....quick speedy expensive....Maybe something that begins with a B also (although nothing is coming to me at the moment) so she won't get too confused.
