Subject: RE: I am getting a wild set up for my aero barsOk, similar scenario (different but not totally off topic ) Is it better (in this scenario...interchangable with "more aero" ) to have your water bottle mounted ABOVE the aerobars (the new wave ) or have something like a Profile design "aerodrink" that hangs "under" the aerobars. Same with your forearms. 1. )Pointed up ( a la TJ ) they form a "shield" of sorts to the air. 2. )Pointed forward (most people ) they form a "spear" of sorts. Now the next question is... is having that "hole" opened up dirtying the air (making you slower ) or is "shielding" with your forearms actually making your surface area bigger (making you slower ) I don't know, but that comes to mind |
