Fell on the ice.  Doc says no physical activity at all until Feb 4th and then slowly back at it.  Picture for reference:

They operated later in the day after the break.  Two metal plates with 8 pins each.  I am not extremely patient, so I have to be moniyored so I don't hurry back too quickly  - but I have a race on 4/19.

I could go either with running or a choose-your-own - I'm flex.  I sure could use the running miles, but then I need more time in the saddle, too. Hmmmm.....guess I'm too wishy-washy to be much help. Maybe a combo bike and run challenge? I dunno...I'm going back to bed.....

Hi Dee -

I am back in the challenge. The last time is when we were paired in Oct. for a run challenge. I voted for a run challenge again. Right now hoping to be back but it all depends on what the PT tells me on my shoulder on Tuesday. I am hopefully with the few running times that I will be back in business in Feb.

I look forward to another fun challenge.

Stacie

I am starting off the season with a DU series,

how about some type of 2 sport combo.

I LOVE this idea!!! Heck, and I don't even care which two events.....

Copied from the first post in this thread:

Why I'm not organizing a "Combo Challenge" this month:

Unfortunately, my job has gotten extremely busy, and that has impacted the amount of time that I can spend organizing a challenge next month.

I would love to do a "combo challenge" in February, where people have multiple goals. HOWEVER, it takes longer to set up a combo challenge, and it also takes longer to determine the results each week.

So I'd like to hold off on "combo challenges" until my "paying job" is in less of a crisis mode.

That said, if anyone else wants to run a February Combo Challenge, please feel free to do it! I certainly don't "own" the challenges. (Not even despite my 5000 posts here! LOL)

Thanks for understanding,

Dee

I Want to Ride My Bikikle (how our son says it), I want to ride my Bike!!!

I'm up for Bike time (trainer rides for time) as running time is few and far between and swim time is no where in sight.

Can't get enough T.I.T.S. huh?  Why don't we do another challenge like this month where people can choose?  Can we have a Team T.I.T.S encore?   I'm gonna miss that name - best team name EVER!

I'd be up for a run/combo challenge. I'm training for my first full marathon so a little motivation to keep grinding out the miles would be great. Hope training goes well for everybody.

I need a good challenge... I need some , and I have a half-mary in April... since I will be running anyway, I thought the biking challenge would help my xtraining... or the choose one would be great.
