KeriKadi - 2009-12-15 7:28 AM Kevin - I'm guessing you live in St. Louis?  Whereabouts?  I graduated HS in KC, MO then moved to St. Louis to go to college.  I went to Fontbonne (across from Wash U) then I lived in South County for a while before moving to O'Fallon.  I miss St. Louis and it is one of the places I would consider moving to even with the COLD!

gavisk - Where in Denver are you?  Most of my family is up there.  Mom lives in Englewood, brother in Denver - works in Cherry Creek and my Grandpa lives in Longmonth.  Both of my parents are from there and I lived there for a little while when I was a kid.

I actually live in SW MO just north of Springfield.  Just wish I lived in STL...

Hey everyone!  I'm so excited for our group!

NAME: KelliD / Kelli

STORY: I caught the tri bug about 2 years ago and was immeadiately hooked!  Just finished my second season and accomplished more goals than I ever thought possible.  I was in Eric's mentor group last year and it was such a great time I couldn't resist coming back for another round

FAMILY STATUS: Great boyfriend (and race partner )who also loves tri's

CURRENT TRAINING: Enjoying the off-season and slowly getting back into the swing of things.   Starting to go to bikram yoga a couple times a week.  Hopefully plan to keep this up through the winter.  After the holidays the plan is to start spending a lot of time on the trainer and get to the pool on a regular basis.

2009 RACES: 2 HIM's, 1 Oly, a handful of sprints & 1 Du

2010 RACES: Just registered for Syracuse 70.3!!  That will be my 'A' race for the season.  Still working on rounding out the rest of my races for the season, but it will include a few oly's and a few sprints.  My main goals for the season are to get stronger on the bike and faster all-around.

WEIGHTLOSS: Just maintain

Wow I like this group already.  John said great things about you guys, I'm looking forward to a great season with everyone.

Bio:

Name: Stan

Story: finished my first season and looking forward to another. I did 3 sprints and 1 olympic this past yr and looking to do 2 olympics and 2 sprints this yr. I live in NYC so training is difficult at times but definitely possible, currently most of my training is indoors but that is soon to change. Moving 1.5 blocks from Central Park in 6-7 months.

Family status: Married 5yrs with a 2yr old boy.

Current training: trying to learn and adapt to a new running style due to bad knees/legs (reading Chi Running). Running is by far my weakest leg and swimming is my best.  Swimming wise I need to learn to do a better job sighting, I suck at it. Biking, I just need to put more time in the saddle.

This year's races: Olympic wise want to do the NYC Triathlon again but it sold out in 7 min, I may still do it but it will cost a ton. Thinking about the Nations Tri and Westchester Tri as well. Sprints are up in the air.

Weightloss: Lost 25lbs since last yr but gained 5 back over the last month mainly due to drinking many servings of scotch and bourbon. Want to lose 15lbs more.

NAME: Betsy0706/Betsy

STORY: This is my second season of tris.  I always had a love of running but never really learned how to swim.  After watching Evondo and some other friends doing triathlons, I decided to bite the bullet.  Got a swim coach and the rest is history!  Swimming is still my weakest leg but I have made lots of progress considering where I started.

FAMILY STATUS:
 Engaged to our fearless leader!

CURRENT TRAINING: running 4x/swimming 1x – focusing on the Houston ½  (like Ken I am trying to break that 2 hour mark)

2009 RACES: Houston marathon, a du, 3 sprint tris, a 5K and the SA ½ marathon

2010 RACES: Only thing on the schedule thus far is the Houston ½ marathon.  Then get married/honeymoon.  Hopefully a few sprint tris sometime this season.  Also doing a relay ½ IM with my future father and brother in law.  I am doing the run portion.

WEIGHTLOSS: Maintain
