I met Jeremy through Masons. And yes even before the general public knew of this he inspired his sister and fellow co-worker to give this a tri.

What a phenomenal story to read with Monday morning coffee. Congratulations to you, Jeremy, and everyone who made this happen. If picture is worth a thousand words, a smile is worth a million. And the bike looks amazing!

Saturday we had a blind runner join us for our marathon training run. 15 miles including trails. She had been running with one other member, but now is joining our group for the regular runs. She is also a triathlete so we had a really good time talking and running as I am now (was!) the only triathlete left in the marathon training group.

Great job and congratulations to both of you! Looks like you both had a lot of fun!

Yes, I see by the bike setup... why you would want to be cautious.

Looks like a great time though!!!!!

Great job. There is a guy who does a lot of events in my area with his disabled son.

Like, like, like!!! And LOVE the smiles on both of your faces on the run!  You are both an inspiration Laughing

For anyone interested http://www.myteamtriumph.com/ is an organization that pairs athletes('angels') with disabled('captains') children and adults for tris and road races.  They have several chapters throughout the country.

What an inspiring race report! I also competed at Stoneman and it was fun and uplifting to see you two on the course competing and having a good time. I finished just after you, and the crowd went nuts when you charged up that last hill to the finish chute. Great job! And hopefully this race report and those who watched you and Jeremy compete will be inspired to enter as para/challenged triathletes or to assist those who compete.
