Like to join one of these but not sure how they work . . .

Pac 10 if necessary. (We all have to make sure the ACC LOOSES!).

(We could actually field a pretty good MWC team if they weren't all focused on marathoning right now . . .

Can only do time challenge as I am relegated to spin bikes in far away gyms when travelling.

Count me in for Team Canada!
I'm not entirely sure what I should be aiming for. I'm a new biker, so I'm thinking around 100 miles.

I was just going to say the same thing about team Canada?!?!?!?!?

I am in for this challenge.... 411 min... not sure about mileage, as I will also be doing spinning classes on this challenge cuz that is an easy awesome hour.

but you know if jknapman and I are the only Canadians... well I think that we can carry out team by ourselves... what do you think jknapman???

I was hoping March would be a bike challenge. I've never done one of these before, but I really need to work on my bike mileage. I'm in for 120 miles for the SEC.

There are a couple NE schools with athletic conference affiliations:

Boston College = ACC
U of Conn = Big East

Here is a listing of the available conferences to choose from. If your school is not listed, then pick a conference that suits your fancy:

SEC
ACC
Big 12
PAC 10
Big 10
Big East

If you are unfamiliar with the conferences and the schools that belong to each, see: http://www.ticketcity.com/ncaasports.asp  for a down and dirty listing.

Huh?  I thought both BC and UConn are in the Big East?  And also UMass

So all of the following count toward the goal:  riding outside, on the trainer and spinning class?

Big East and 230 miles for me. I'm an SU grad but this isn't exactly a year to mention that. Maybe things will look up once lacrosse season starts. I'd be willing to be the Big East team captain if needed.

Where are the rest of the Hummin Hamsters???

I am out in Colorado now, but I would love to join a BIG 10 Team!

Training Plan right now looks like 12 1/2 hours for March.

Does time Mountain Biking count????

This Wolverine is good for 9.0 hours in the Big 10. Putting Spartans, Buckeyes, and Wolverines together will make for a pretty disfuntional team . I guess that will make our victory that much more impressive. If no one else wants to do it, I am willing to do the stats for the Big10.

I'm in for the canadian team.  A lot of my rides are going to be on the trainer though so I'll have to enter a time based goal. Now I need to figure out what that goal should be.
