no running today, have a HM tomorrow.

Are we supposed to be posting our runs anywhere besides our own logs?

Good luck with the HM . where is your race ? Do you have a pace / time in mind ?

Thanks!  The race is in downtown Orlando.  It's not a very exciting destination, but it's a nice race.  I think i'm just hoping to keep my time under 2 hrs.  I haven't done any long runs since a HIM 3 weeks ago, so I'm really just hoping to hang on!  Of course, there is the competitive part of me that says "push the pace - you can hit a 1:45!"  I'll be doing my best to ignore that evil voice!

I just bought a pair of Nike Free.  Anyone have any experience with them?  I plan on using them for my short runs.

Had planned on a 12km today.... But after a not so healthy meal and late night, plus a -5 degree (Celsius) temperature, my run felt horrible. I cut it short 9km and even walked a good part of the last 2.5km. :-(. Easy pace 3km run and 90 minute trainer ride tomorrow.

Finished the HM -1:54:05.  Better then I thought I'd be able to do, so this was a pleasant surprise.

Session three in the books -- 8.55 mile run around my small town in the drizzle. I had to jump over and run around quite a few puddles. I don't really like wet feet.

No runs for me yet this month. Short one scheduled for this afternoon.

So the funny thing is that I live in Australia and it is summer here! The tri season has well and truly started. Is anyone else from a southern hemisphere location?

PS. Can anyone create one of those little table things for our training logs? It would be cool to have easy access to so we can go and inspire out team mates/all challenge participants.

My sister just moved to Australia last year for work and loves it.  She is based in Melbourne but travels quite a bit during the week for work.  She is loving the weather and the active lifestyle in Australia but I miss my training partner .

I came down with a head cold that sucked the life out of me all weekend.  I had a couple Nyquil nights.  Luckily it seems to be getting better and hope to be back to 100% in the next couple days.

I did have to shorten my long run up on Sunday but still tracking ok.  I missed my hockey game last night for some extra sleep and got an extra run in this AM for team Ice Hockey.  You see where my loyalty lies .

7 miles on the treadmill yesterday...  not fun, but it got done...

Plan is for 4 miles after work today - iffy on whether it has to be another treadmill run or I get to hit the pavement - I don't do windy, rainy, and temps in the mid 30's well....
