mr2tony - 2013-01-30 10:54 AM If I recall it was HangLoose who coined the term `Thread About Nothing'

Hmm I always thought it was Spokes. Could be wrong.

hangloose - 2006-09-28 5:16 PM

Girl, no offense, but choo ain't even close to the Hall of Fame of thread killers.

Marmadaddy had to stop running the program that tracked how many threads some of us killed to free up storage space for threads about peeing on the bike and a 50 page thread about nothing.

Nope, it was hangloose.

I wonder what that crazy kid is up to these days.

pitt83 - 2013-01-29 9:50 PM I blame 2goggs. And Yanti.

They are NOT to blame .. it was someone else.

It is So Fresh So Clean's fault.

I remember that thread, but I never participated in it. I just checked out the last post and I am indeed a post (thread) killer.

Yes, I'm still around, but now I've moved on.  Instead, I just kill any atmosphere when I walk in the room.  (I went from being a Post Killington to a Buzz Killington)

And old TAN and old CoJ just don't measure up to new TaN and new CoJ.  Lately, people have been playing it safe.

OK... Here's a chronology of the last few replies:

12:27

12:30

12:34

12:37

12:45

1:11

10:02

5pm the next day

6:31

10:13

10:36

10:43

11:12

..... And now eleven hours have gone by without another reply.  Ergo, I am the post killer.  Of course, now I just reinstated the competition, and this thread wont die, but up until now, here is proof that I am the post killer.

Maybe I should change my title under my avatar!

I am sorry, but it's called "post killer."  I have secret powers superior to Marmadaddy that can kill any individual posts without even him knowing!

In the pantheon of thread-killers and post-whores, you rank low, Grasshoppa.

No, it's a TATTOO.

I already did .. on page 2.   And no this is definitely NOT another TAN as we know TAN today!

Well, there you go.  Just like real TAN, I don't go back to read anything.  I only make deposits.

So ... as the originator of TAN ... how does it feel to be a BT legend?

It feels good knowing that I have created such notoriety with such few posts.  I am averaging something like 1.18 per day.

I think I have the highest chaos to post count ratio of the entire BT.
