This was a fast field also, many experienced athletes.
I enjoyed that run a hell of a lot more than the eagleman run. I walked the steepest parts of the campground and firetower roads and still beat my eagleman run time by 16 minutes (but I definately overbiked eagleman causing the slow run time ). I also think my weekly hill runs with Josh Beck have helped out a lot.
I soft pedaled going up the bottom of the wall so I had at least 15 yards of clear sailing in front of me when I got to the steepest part. |
