Okay.....update....Shannon/goddess here.

Saw Doug (captantony), Shannon (swgtri) and Bonnie (leopard 8996) on the bike course several times....all look good and strong.  THey are on their last loop and I expect DOug to hit transition between 3:45-4.  Shannon is about 15 minutes behind him and Bonnie is about 45 minutes behind him.

I couldn't spot any other BT guys on the bikes.....I should have been aware of what they had on.....hard to id people.

The weather has warmed up a bit and the wind has died down....some good cloud cover, so it's not beating down on them.  The crowds are huge and there is tons of good support out there.  I'll be here, cheering on all of our BTers throughout the run, until the end!  Whoopwhoop!

Shannon!

We are watching the live feed. It looks like it is right as folks come out of T2 and you can see the bikes going in...is that right?

We hope to see some of the BTers ...go BTers!

He did a really good job pacing on the bike, let's hope he saved something for the run.

You bet we will Tacoma!  Part of the fun of doing IMCDA last year was knowing that my BT friends were watching and following my progress.  This is a GREAT community.

I wonder what's up with Brad (Weds19).  He's a pretty good cyclist and broke 12 hours at IMLP but seems to be having trouble on the bike.  I wonder if something's wrong with him or the bike.

Ack! The slow updates on splits is killing me!

A friend of mine (Niki) is out there and is having trouble on the bike. Another friend is up there jockstrapping and I called her and she said Niki was sick at mile 20 in the med tent and wanted to quit. She kept going and got to mile 56 and wanted to quit then too, but kept going. It took her 4 hrs to do the first half, and she didn't take in any nutrition. She started eating a little after that and I know she's made it to mile 70. I'm just hoping she starts to feel better and makes it safely (no severe med issues).

We need good thoughts for Niki #2187! Be strong and keep fighting girl!

Maybe Brad decided to ride with Kristin and pace her??  Either that or had a catastrophic bike failure ....... or got really sick?

Hope everything is okay .........

Looks like everyone's having a pretty decent day out there!  I've been watching all day (on the couch blowing my nose and feeling crappy) and having fond memories of doing IMAZ.

I can't wait to do this one next year!  It looks like such a beautiful place to do an Ironman!!

I think they still have a little under an hour to finish the bike course.   10:30 total race time is usually the cutoff for the bike
