I was selected to a jury in a criminal case today and they are telling us the case could go 2+ weeks. We're not sequestered, but the trial is in Philadelphia, which is an hour and a half away. I might be able to slip in a workout or two here and there, but it's going to be very spotty. Good luck and KICK @SS!!! Bill ![Yell Yell](../jscripts/tiny_mce3.2.3/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-yell.gif) Ick. But thank you for serving on a jury. I have an out for the next 10+ years with a special needs kid. Lucky me??? How's he doing? Really well, thanks for asking! Of course we still have our trials and such but he's doing sooooooo well right now behaviorally. On the medical side, not great. He keeps having asthma issues and he has the permanent snots. The doctor put him on Singular but and it helped for a bit but stopped. I think we are headed to ENT soon. Never a dull moment!! ![](https://beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/images/emoticons/smile.gif) Hey Erica, I also have a special needs kid... we should probably compare notes some day! My 12 year old has cerebral palsy. It certainly makes life challenging, doesn't it? But I wouldn't trade her for the world! And good news, team... The judge told us today that the prosecution in our case is calling their final 2 witnesses tomorrow and closing arguments will be heard before lunch... Which means we're deliberating in the afternoon, BABY! So this trial could conceivably be over before the end of the week. If that's the case, I'll jump right back in and just refine my goals a little. Oh, and I was able to do a quick 5k on the treadmill this morning before schlepping into Philly. |
