Liberty Half Ironman.  I am totally unprepared on the bike again...as usual...

Hopefully I can make up for it with some smart race nutrition.

Under 7 hours, i'll take it...under 6:30, I'll be estatic...

Thanks for all the bike tips.  I have to try those out this week. 

Today is a run day, and if it would dry up a bit outside it should be a mow the lawn day.

(aside - - I tried to find a picture of a lot of june bugs together, to look like a giant race. But the first multiple june bugs pic I  found showed them in a frying pan. It was accompanied by a blog entry describing how to eat them. So I stopped looking.)

I got up this morning and got my run in before work. I have to admit, once I got myself out there it was really nice. It is also really nice to have it over with and if I felt like it, I could do something this afternoon.

Pretty sure that won't happen. AND, the afternoon thunder storm is brewing and rumbling so I am gonna shut the computer down.

Yesterday's Hail storm was something I would rather not see again soon. They say we had 65 mile per hour winds. It looked like it, too! Scary.

I ran 1 mile today (little brick run after an hour bike). But hey, it's chipping away at the goal.

Jen, that's some cool cowbell!  You're an awesome jockstrapper.  Now I'm starting to get nervous...

Well I got 2 good runs in this week...and I have a 5K this weekend...I THINK I'm looking forward to it.  I'm kinda sad, cuz I don't think I'll be running all of it - and that was my goal.  But I know that I ran more of the other 5K I did...but then I don't want to hurt myself ?!?!

Tomorrow instead of my 1 miler I had planned...I think I'm gonna swim.  My hip flexors are feeling a little tweaked and I can feel it in my quads.
