Fixed that for you.

WOW. Seriously. I'm actually an amazing coach with very successful triathlete's. If you don't know what you are talking about then you need to stop talking.

I've never heard a coach say that they sucked. They are all amazing. With very successful "triathlete's" to boot!

The 310 is on sale at REI. There's a 410 and 305 in the classifieds...

My Timex works GREAT, but I hate their software, and that I can't just upload to Strava, and that I need a premium TrainingPeaks account to do anything remotely useful...

I looked at my closet last night and pulled out so much tri crap I don't wear - going to try and sell it in the Classifieds I think. All have MINIMAL wear on them. I came up with:

Xterra Vortex Full sleeved wetsuit
DeSoto 400-mile shorts
Zoot tri shorts
2XU tri shorts
Zoot bra tri top
Louis Garneau skimpy tri top
Castelli S/S bike jersey
L/S bike jersey (cheap brand but practically new)
2 running hats (tags still on)
5 or 6 unworn technical race shirts (3 of them red, I despise red shirts) - one is funky with a hood and pockets?
Specialized saddle
12/25 cassette (I think?)
2 books (Triathletes training bible and a Lance Armstrong book

Crazy I have that much stuff I don't use?!

I still have a Pearl Izumi Rev3 team jersey from last year, with tags on it! I somehow ended up with two, and just never wore one. Feels weird selling it, though.

Get one! I love my Garmin! LOVE IT. I can't live without it.

I don't know much about the 310, but that's a good price. Once my Garmin dies I'll going to drop the cash for the latest and greatest one that tracks swimming too, 910XT. BUT my boyfriend and some clients have one and it is still a bit buggy. If I spend $400 on something, I want to work perfectly. Especially since my $150 Garmin works perfectly.

Shaddup with this pig latin. If you want triathlon talk take it to triathlon talk.

So. Big news coming at some point today.

Had the 305.  Good stuff.  Gave it to the kids when the 910 came out (yep, the better half and I each plunked down on it - and I LOVE LOVE LOVE that I don't have to count laps... worth every dang penny).  Use the 800 when in roadie mode on the bike.

Garmins really are fun, even with the occassional "I hate Garmin" worthy snafu (and they do happen).

As said above, wrong place to get talked OUT of buying stuff - even stuff that ends up in your closet and eventually on a TAN thread and almost for sale.  Wink

Hey TAN. Been a while. I did my last tri for the summer on Sunday, so now I don't have any races, I'm taking off a week or two of training, and I don't have any races, and I've gotten more than 6 hours of sleep for a few nights, and I'm not really training, and no races on the horizon, and no workouts scheduled . . . so how the heck are ya'll?

I'm trying the never wet spray from Rustoleum on my panniers, pack and shoes. Hopefully it won't rain next week, but if this stuff works, I'll be stoked for doing it.

That's quite the follow-up post! First you want to buy Lisa's wet shorts, then a post about "never wet" spray. Irony?

Miserable failure. It dries milky white, so now my stuff looks grey and blotchy. Glad I don't care about how it looks, but I wouldn't use this again and especially not on anything I care about. Then; what's the point if you don't care?

Training our bodies to work efficiently in Zone 2 will help us keep our HR and pace even throughout an Ironman. This theory would hold true for the bike and run portion of an Ironman race.
