These late afternoon/evening long runs are going to kill me. I survived my long run of the week in 95+ heat but I was sloooooooooowwwwwwwwwww!!!! Something about the uphill for 5 miles in the beginning wasn't all that smart either. I hope everyone has a great week of training. |

Sam mentioned to me last night to be on the lookout for a new frame for her. Maybe this one?  Also, looking at their site, this blurb. If you’ve been struggling to find a Tri bike that doesn’t leave you feeling like you’ve been on the rack for hours, you’ll know that many so called “Women’s Specific” models are often just the small mens frame painted pink! The Stealth 650 XS and XXS sizes have SHORT top tubes, and we mean short. Our XXS sizes has a top tube length of just 470mm. That’s 2cm shorter than the smallest available Cervelo or 3.5cm shorter than the Scott Plasma Contessa. Now you don’t have to feel the bars of your bike are faaaaaaar away. |

And Birdy, we kind of prefer your shots of Kona, Kim, Ryan, mountains or you racing... Finished up my 65m ride this morning in perfect weather. Did the IM loop plus some more, over 4100 ft of climbing today. Rode part with a guy doing his first IM WI. He taught himself how to swim last year and was doing the full 112m plus an hour run today. I was glad that wasn't me! I always seem to meet such cool people doing these treks by myself. Have OWS class tonight so I need to refuel and zest up for tonight!! |
