I wasn't cold, but I fell on some ice, stepped in puddles, and got my clean shoes all full of mud. Better than a treadmill, imo. Falling sucks, I hope you didn't hurt anything. I don't mind a bit of splashing, and I find that it's easy to wash my shoes in the machine, but it's a bit too early in the season for a broken wrist A TON of melting happened yesterday, so fingers crossed... |

Member 91 Minneapolis | Subject: RE: Whine about the weather thread I keep running around Lake Nakomis (there are people ice fishing while I run, btw) and each time I run past the beach I look across the lake and think about OWS on Tuesdays. It makes me sad to think how long it's going to take before the ice melts and the water warms up to a swimable temp. |

I am actually debating if I want to bother with my 20 minute pre-race easy run today. Normally I am jazzed about a 20 minute run! I gave up on the bike, it's in the garage now. Screw the trainer. |
