I got a treadmill run done yesterday.  It was raining too hard all day to take baby in the stroller.  That run puts me at over 100%.  I still have more running to do this month, though.  Cheers!

I got a swim in last night, so I'm chipping away at that goal!  Will lift tonight and planning on going to yoga tomorrow morning so I should get to 100% on my 4th goal by tomorrow.

Hi,

Last time I ran last week I felt something pull in the bottom of my right foot. I RICEd it last week but it still bothered me during today's run.

Bill, I'd like to drop my last run of the month.

Boy, is it hot out there!!  I went outside at lunch time to run a few errands and almost melted just walking to the car.  Anyone else out there running in the heat today?  I'm afraid if I wait until later tongiht I'll never get to it...  and I want to make sure I get my ride in later too.  Decisions, decisions...

I was going earlier but had to delay so now I am running in the heat of the day. I have lots and lots of water, though since I am not used to it yet. I am just

Ladies--We are falling apart!  I hope everyone is prioritizing their health and not over-doing it.  This challenge will be a squeaker for me as well, since I lost time to my own over-training related illness earlier in the month.  I will just barely fall short of biking and running.  Good to go with swim/strength/yoga.  Thunder showers in the forecast here for the next 2 days, but I'll try to get out on the bike.

Let's just do our best.

Be careful. I just had to head for home with a really sudden, really violent thunderstorm. Stay safe.

Careful out there with those thunderstorms!  We had a bad one here yesterday that tore up a school...bad enough they cancelled classes today.  We have a pretty good shot at having them again today.  Stay safe.

Thanks ladies, but I'm not anticipating anything so severe.  I wouldn't even consider riding until the weather blows through and I'm looking at clear skies.  Hopefully, I'll be able to get a few hours in the saddle and onto the spreadsheet.

Be careful in the storms! We have had a major thunderstorm system roll through in late afternoon every day this week; I am afraid to leave the office! Unless it clears up quickly, looks like bike and run is going to have to wait.

So, I delayed my run until about 8pm tonight when it cooled of to below 90...  It was still 3.33 miles of hotness.  And I don't mean the good kind!  Wink  Came home and was putting my oldest daughter to bed.  She kept telling me to put the cold washcloth back on my head because I was still really red.  She's so sweet to me when she wants to be!

After I got her to bed, I hopped on the trainer with my husband to ride and watch Dallas.  For those that don't know me, this qulifies as a "date night" for us many times!  I only made it 10 of the 20 miles I wanted to get in tonight.

My headache came back full force and decided I have had enough for one day.  I'm off to take a cool shower, down a couple more glasses of water and treat myself to a bowl of ice cream!

Hello ladies! I was able to adjust my run goal...Bill was going to have me just cancel it out but I opted to change it to sessions and have it be my walk instead. I had a great day today... my own backward tri! I walked this morning then jumped on my bike and road to work, then swam a mile in the pool. Taught a water aerobics and yoga class then road home. I will get my first OWS in tomorrow. I will be close on the bike and swim for my goals this month. I should make the swim as long as I can get in the lake up north this weekend, had planned an OWS there in my goals. Not sure on the bike, was suppose to ride tomorrow afternoon but I have PT instead. I am going out of town for the weekend and really can't ride on the roads up there. So what I get in from now to Fri is all I can do with the bike.

I am happy to say that I am well! I'm sorry so many of you are sick or injured. It must be the pits.

It looks like I will be 100% on all of my goals this month! I am racing this weekend, and that should finish off everything but the run.

This morning I nearly got pushed off the road by a school bus, AGAIN! This happened last week, too. There is no alternate route, and I can't go at another time, because I work at the school! I left a message at the bus garage, but I need to call back tomorrow. These drivers need to be educated about Montana law. Both times they could have slowed down for just 10 seconds and I would have been out of their way.

Happy Thursday!

Oh, my!  I have to pass a truck stop in order to get to any good biking roads from my house so I'm used to being scared of the big semis...  But I would expect a school bus to be a little more safety conscious, for everyone!

I'm hoping to get my last swim in today so I don't have to try to get to the Y this weekend...  but we have thunderstorms predicted throughout the day (and the indoor pool closes for thunder) so we'll see what happens.  I'll have to time it just right!
