Speaking of questions, what do you think about the auburn century and my doing the "outlaw" ride ... 110 miles, 11,000' of climbing... on September 20th.

I'm not sure the SF Half is going to happen the way my foot feels right now. I'm going to keep running, but I'm not sure I can crank up the intensity needed to be ready by August 3rd... in terms of mileage. And, I may in San Diego July 29-31 for work, and I'm thinking of going to Disneyland for the weekend instead... 

Lots of time between now and then.

My TI stuff came friday. I've been reading the book and so far there is a whole lot of "do this" and "be that" and not a lot of "here's how".

I don't have access to whatever station they're on. I only get a few XM stations through my DirecTV service.

Yes it will.  I am watching on the internet in the lab though.  There will be at least one computer watching each here.  Works out well.

Well, we are mostly graduate students or medical students, plus the doctors and hospital employees.  No undergrads on our campus during the summer.

Yeah - the book can be a dry read.  The vids help a ton.  TL spends a lot of time telling you why when you only want to know how.
