I've been having some pain in my right heel; could this be the start of plantar fasciiitis?

Hopefully not.  PF (aka Princess Feet) is nasty.  Is it worse when you get up in the morning?  That's a typical sign.  If you even suspect PF start stretching hamstrings, soleus etc.  I also roll my feet on a golf ball and ice regularly.  Had a bad bout a couple years ago that lasted over 9 mos.  I spend at least 10 - 15 mins stretching after every run.   Keeping my princess toes crossed that it's a false alarm.

I feel better - cuz we surpassed Team Trifecta...but this is a Team effort!! Go Buggies!!

It's like Team Taser isn't even in competition cuz they are so ridiculously ahead...it's like Trifecta and us are in competition - and I feel like a winner if we beat them...so in effect - I feel like we win even though Team Taser would win...it just goes to show, maybe you shouldn't set ridiculously high standards/pace...cuz then everyone forgets about you and just tries to "race" with the "normal" people...

Hey Dudes and Chickas! I'm chuggin' along here purty dang good!

So...question:

---->Can we increase our goal ????

Absolutely!

Just go ahead and raise your goal on the spreadsheet.

Goal raising may be done at ANY time.

(Goal reduction needs to be for a reason though.)

I have already...to 66 miles.

I think it's o.k. as long as you don't decrease your goal.

Hi team!  How's it going today?

I didn't run this morning.  Couldn't fall asleep until 2, so I am going after work.

Had a quick transition run off the bike last night. Today is a swim and bike day (and I totally overslept morning masters...oops!). Tomorrow is a run and swim day. After this weekend I should be at about 50% of my goal.

ceilidh - 2009-06-11 7:25 AM When I get home hopefully I will be able to get a medicine ball workout in at lunch time.

What do you do with the medicine ball?

I use it to do a combo of free weight movements and general exercises at the same time. For example: Doing bicep curls and squats at the same time; abs holding the ball out front; lunges and triceps extensions. I like it better than the free weights because you can move from one exercise right into the other seamlessly. It also is easier on my wrists than weights.

lkc01234 - 2009-06-11 6:28 AM I had a dream last night I lost my job...I think maybe indirectly due to the fact that I've been spending so much time on BT while at work...Embarassed  (But I'm not at work yet!!)

I'm quoting my own post...is that sad or funny?

Not sure how much time you all spend in COJ (Cup of Joe) but there is a website that I find hilarious (of course you have to find completely inane things funny...) http://www.textsfromlastnight.com/  But there is this one I read just now...that mentioned a funny to above..
(910): In these economic times, linking arms taking tequilla shots with your boss as an underage girl is the best job security I can think of

(Too bad I'm not underage...)

Oh, how I wish I'd never found this site.... you can waste SO much time there. This is one of my recent favorites:

"(775): My boss just told me $1,000 at a six hour event wouldn't be worth her time. She makes $70k a yr. and apparently never learned multiplication."
