I missed my brick this morning when I got off of work due to The Sickness! I can't say I feel much better right now but hopefully a night relaxing at work will help (haha) and I was only doing a 5k so I should easily be able to make that up...as long as I don't feel worse!!

van_paulus - 2011-10-25 2:01 PM I have hit my running goal today , it was set at 110% of my september run mileage . A significant side effect has been a slight weight loss. I am focusing on the 13.1 this winter and just did my first mock one of the season last weekend. Real timed one is nov 6th.

Great job! The weight loss is a nice benefit.

got a 5 mile track run in with my coach yesterday.  Trying to fix some baaaaaad habits!  I will be missing tomorrows run because my bad form has caused my calves to ache and I want to be fresh for Saturday 1/2 marathon. So I am gonna fall 1 session short of making my goal.

I see the West team is coming close to us.    GO EAST!

2.5 mile recovery run this morning...  I just need two more to make my goal and I have two events this weekend - a 5k and a sprint tri - so barring anything unforeseen, I will be upping my goal by a few sessions...

Team MW can still close the distance - hopefully we just need to update the spreadsheet!  Let's get it team!!  A final kick to the finish!

I was going to run last night, but the line at the treadmills was too long. I am cursing myself for not bringing outside clothes.  Sadly, the weather is turning too cold for short sleeves in the evening.    I did think about running laps around the gym parking lot (until I got too cold), but didn't.  When I walked out to my car I saw the lot was so nice and lit up, it would have worked great.  I am going to figure out the distance in one lap and try the idea again soon.

So, anyway, I am still going for 100% compliance, even if they are short.   I am saving all of my energy for my half marathon on Saturday.  Yikes!

I am probably not going to make my goal. It will be close. I won't be able to update unil 11/1 so don't panic too soon.

Come on world team, we must be doing more of our goals than what the spreadsheet is showing.  Let's bring it home strong

STILL SICK! Ahhhh no run today either :-(

I am glad I upped my goal from 140k to 200k but it will be a challenge to make it. Don't count me out yet though, I am planning on being out tomorrow no matter what (back-to-back Dr's appts and work) but I have Fri, Sat and Sun to do a little over 30k (about 19 miles), though I have an action packed halloween/birthday weekend, fitness is ALWAYS my priority so I am still planning to give my team a 100%

GO NORTHEAST!

Sorry, teammate! Was going strong for a while there, but now I'm sick. Totally doable for me to finish it up if I can find out what's wrong tomorrow.

Come on everybody!

In honor of you peeps, I did a 2-mile run last night.  I kept it low key.  I think I'm just about recovered, but won't press it.

Oh, and Halloween is just around the corner!!
