Friday weigh in.

As expected I’m about the same/ slightly up (0.3 lb according to the scale) compared to last Friday. While that’s a little disappointing, overall, I’m still on pace, according to my plan of losing 1 lb/wk.  There are bound to be weeks where you don’t meet you goals.

I was at the cabin deer hunting all week, so nutrition consisted of heavy breakfasts, sweets through the day, then heavy dinners and beer in the evening.  After being sick the previous week, I’ve hit a little rocky road.  But I’m back on track starting yesterday.

Down 1 pound, finally!

Anyone have any good smoothie recipes?

Every morning I have this smoothie for breakfast:

1 cup milk (I usually use almond or soy milk, unsweetened, vanilla)

1 heaping Tbsp peanut butter (I use the powdered, low cal/fat stuff)

1 tbsp cocoa

1 scoop protein powder (vanilla)

1 banana

Ice

I’ve been having that for a couple years and am not sick of it, yet.

Last week 173.2
This week 173.1

HUGE drop, lol, especially considering the halloween candy issues :p

Really though, statistically insignificant change, the bottle of water I drank before bed alone could have resulted in a 2 pound drop had I not also drank it, but I drink my water

I weigh in on Tuesdays at Weigh Watchers. I use that number for our Friday check in here.

I weighed in the day after I got back from a vacation in San Francisco. It's not going in the right direction but I've felt good about my overall food choices and workouts. I'm having a good week so far.

I'm starting with the day I went back to Weight Watchers:

10/19 - 145.8

10/26 - 143.6

11/2 - 144.6

11/9 - 146.8

I've got a 10 mile race tomorrow. I'm looking fwd to it since I haven't raced that distance since 2009! Should be a big PR unless something crazy happens.

I am up 2 pounds this week. It seems I am not alone. I have been eating really well and doing at least the minimum of my workouts. Seems I had better kick it up a notch or two. Though it could be the usual fluctuations, I am not going to rely on that.

weight this week was expected 164. the same as the week before.  on the good side thats my heavy weight for the day. i usually weigh myself 3 times a day. morning, after work, before bed.  and right now thats my weight all day long. once i start losing weight over night, i'll drop 5 pounds real quick then i will hold the same weight over night  for a couple weeks then loose again.  seems thats how i roll.   lol

5 cups of salad greens, 2 green zucchini and half of a cucumber

My complex wants me to write a review of their management team and bribed me with a massive sugar cookie left at my door!!!  WTF!!??  I should throw it out, but I put it in the back of the refrigerator, I'm not tempted to eat it.

90 minutes on the computrainer today and an hour trail run today

Aww, you can't throw out a perfectly good sugar cookie!!!!! Save it for a special occasion.

LOL, I weighed at 135 this morning....down from last week but still up.

took a small bite of the cookie and threw it away.

Weight down 216.4 to 215.2 this week.

Got in 3 days of total Cardio over 45 minutes, and a couple of days a little under 45 minutes.

Did 3 strength sessions of 20 minutes (2 core and one upper body).

Accomplished the push up challenge (after midnight that day) but did not play along with the "Green Food"

this week overall was ok.  Not on target to reach my end of year goals, but moving in the right direction and making plans for a solid winter training program.

My week of Green Food:

GREENS CHALLENGE!

Mon - Nov 5 - Cup of romaine lettuce at lunch, green beans at dinner
Tue - Nov 6 - romaine lettuce at lunch, Jonathan apple
Wed - Nov 7 - romaine lettuce at lunch, apple, lima beans
Thur - Salad, apple, green margaritas
Fri - some green peppers in seafood curry at lunch

Was down 3 pounds this week, a lot of which I suspect is water. I'm ok with that.

Down 4 lbs from last week and also suspect that some of it is water weight.  I did eat very clean this week and hit all my workouts so I am confident some is actual weight lose.  Thank goodness my wife is stronger than I am and makes it hard for me to slip up.  Without her support and doing the Whole30 Challenege with me I would have been elbows deep in a bowl of popcorn with extra butter while we were watching a movie last night.

Today is my core day so 50 crunches will be no problem.

Keep up the good work everyone.

Other than missing yesterday's workout, I've had a pretty good week. Lost 1 lb, bringing my total to 3 lbs since we started...and the green challenge is almost done.

Avg 2.2 servings of greens per day all week; including broccoli and honeydew melon for lunch today.

Good luck to everyone this weekend.  Always my most challenging time of the week.

Happy weekend peeps!

Weigh in day. 207.8 this morning, which I think is up a bit but eating sucked this past week and water weight is in the mix a bit, think I was a bit dehydrated last week.

What's everyone have on tap for the weekend? I see Queen is going to rock a half mary tomorrow, good luck Cool

Wow, I had 3 pages of posts to catch up on.   As for friday weigh in and the weeks challenge results:

Weight this week 139, down one pound .

Did the push up challenge and did core Friday so met the 50 crunches challenge.

Did not do well on the greens challenge - only one green veggie most days ( a couple days of two).

Did not meet the main challenge exercise goals again.

Need to focus, focus, focus and work harder.
