Daylight Savings is kicking my butt today.  Hour bike & hour run yesterday, plus staying up until nearly midnight, plus starting to wake up lots earlier than normal so that I can get in workouts makes for a very sleepy Chris.

Happy monday. Another week of call for me.  Next day off is saturday the 22nd.  Lucky me.  Call blows

Upside of the 22nd is I get my bike fit and bring home my new bike.

WOOHOOO it is like a whopping 40 degrees out here. Warmest day of 2014. I feel like sunbathing.

Work has been well very hard on my crotch today. Weekend wasn't so bad. Yes Tramacet is well a useless drug for me. I finally gave in and took it today due to all the up and down from my desk and being on and off the floor for two press upgrades today.

I am back to advil liquid gels did more for me. I am going stir crazy not being able to do anything.

I had to go home at lunch and Ice.

Frozen itch balls that is all.

I am tired today -- dang daylight savings time combined with the kittehs being awake and then me waking up and not getting back to sleep. I am going to take an industrial strength sleeping pill at like 830pm tonight and crash at 930 or 10. That'll fix me right up.

I am tired too.  But, I am going for a really long slow jog in lieu of a pill.  I hope I crash and sleep through the night.  I drank coffee this morning even though it is part of the problem.  Does upping the metabolism for an hour or so burn up the caffein faster that sitting still?  I am hoping I burn the stuff out.

I find that when I do a lot of exercise (two or more hours) in a day I have a hard time sleeping.

I've experienced this, and I've also found that if I get a nap during the day - just a short one - that I actually sleep better that night.  It's like that whole "too tired to sleep" thing.

I need a volunteer. You must be willing to smack me before I make stupid decisions.

After deciding to let an ex boyfriend watch my dog over the weekend, he logged into my facebook account on my kindle, and proceeded to message virtually every male that I was in contact with before, during, and after we dated for ~4 months. He told them about how I'm a liar, a cheat, and I'm just using them for my physical needs. Aside from inappropriate, but not-serious, comments with one of them, I didn't really do any of the things I was accused of.

Yesterday was spent apologizing and doing damage control... and getting dozens of texts, fb messages, and then e-mails from the ex, calling me terrible names and generally degrading me.

So, whoever volunteers, gets to smack me when I do things like let the ex bf in my home or life for any reason. You also get to smack me when I date someone who displays crazy tendencies.

So, takers?

Also, is this what being 28 and single is like for everyone? Or is it just my poor decision making skills

Not two hours.  It was long and easy with some walking.  Just trying to get comfortably tired and really relaxed.

I ran in Piedmont Park.  It is always entertaining.  There were predictably lots of people out in the nice weather.  The most interesting were 1) a guy twirling batons, actually juggling three of them, 2) a guy drawing a portrait in pastels of another guy, and 3) a girl on a bike with a fully visible 38 police special strapped under her arm.

Here's a long-range, electromagnetic dope slap for you.  What were you thinking? What was he thinking?  Hope your friends have a sense of humor about stupid things ex's will do.

Shall we start thinking of fun ways to get even?  It will be fun and cleansing  to discuss even if they are not actually done. I should point out that early spring is when farmers usually clean out the barn.

ouch. The brief period I was single and dating people I found a LOT of crazy in 5 women over a period of 8 weeks. I was surprised how fast I said no to second dates and got called over critical for a guy who isn't that good looking.

I dated for about 2 weeks a completely SMOKING hot girl and for one min thought Why is she willing to date me.. 2 weeks later I figured it out. CWAZY.

never ever let an ex into anything you do.

I allowed one to crash at my house for a few days 2 years ago. that didn't turn out well. I care to not talk about or mention any of the things that happened.

I am willing to give you a scolding.

If I had a Mexican passport, then I could get you Mexican food....

But then I'd have to get a Canadian passport too.

This is too stressful.

WOW ELAINE!!! That is all kinds of cray.

Chris to your bolded... I had a guy accuse me of this as well. I went on one date with him, and about a week later I updated my dating profile (keeping it fresh, right!). He messaged me, calling out all of my changes assuming they were personally about HIM. It was a super creepy, aggressive email, saying I was too picky and not even that hot. Maybe there was some truth to that

I'm currently filling out an injunction against harassment, and will let him know that if he doesn't stop contacting me, I will submit it to the city court.

As for getting even... it's been about a week since I cleaned up the dog poo in the yard...

What you need is one of those air cannons that they use for pumpkin launching (a small one would do.  6" PVC pipe, end cap with a 1" quick open valve, some fittings, an air tank-55 gal should do, pre-pressured to 90% of tank rating), a couple of bags of fresh manure and a window with a small opening.  If none is provided, use a hammer or convenient rock. Load cannon.  Blast off.
