Well, nose bleeds can be something as simple as he bopped his nose, or a simple infection, but they can be more serious.  I noticed that he was 'restless' the night before.  Any other changes?  Eating/drinking ok?  Urine and stools normal?  Normal colour?  (Sorry everyone!)  If all else is normal, then unless it happens again, don't worry. Laughing

He was a bit restless last night too, but that may be b/c it's been so miserably hot that I haven't given him a proper evening walk. His appetite is normal as is, I think his drinking. It's hard to say on that cuz I don't normally see the drinking, just refill his big ole water bucket whenever I think about it. I was a bit concerned b/c when I came out in the morning he was laying on the couch with his head resting on the arm rest, obviously not having been up and roaming the house ( don't judge, he's allowed on one coach only ), so I saw no opportunity for nose bopping.I will take him to the vet if it happens again. We are regulars! Thanks for your concern !

I'm sorry, but these are the things that run through my empty noggin while I am trying to push through intervals. I hope everyone has a great day and continues to smile in the face of whatever challenge you may have.

Oooooooh booooy! Waita leave us hangin'! HOW DOES IT END?!?!

Thank you all for the birthday cheer!!!!! My sweet DH took the day off. He brought my dirty chai before taking our boy to school. Then watched our girl while I did my postponed LT test from last night. THEN... we went to the LBS to look at a mtn bike. It will be officially mine in about an hour! He's big and burly, but smooooth. Pics to come, of course. A veggie burrito at Chipotle has the first half of my day looking pretty hard to beat :D

About which the Manatees prattled?

And her boot he found in his saddle?

Turned around, and found himself paddled?

For free. I immediately went and bought them some beer and dropped it off at the shop. I love being treated like a human being.
Oh so cool when you find places like that. Did you ask them about if they do a basic bike mechanic course?

I have taken a basic course. I'm ready for an advanced course now although I was talking to J about that and the reality is, I have a bike stand at work but not at home and quite honestly to do the real stuff you really need a stand. So I dunno if it's even worth it. If that makes sense ...

Yep! Waiting like a _______________(fill in the blank here) for the boys to bring "him" home.

Silver Streaker (the roadie) could possibly be a girl, but not this one. A name will be interesting to come up with.

Yeah Bruce (he is the bridle one) normally leaves half but it is normally filled by at least one more. I think the I have a photo somewhere of 3 of them on one couch.

Originally they weren't allowed on the couch, and our eldest girl never gets up. Then our second girl had surgery on her hock (OCD) and it was too hard for her to get up and down to floor level (and at 70kg she was too heavy to lift) so we let her sleep on the couch cause she could just step on and off. So 6 years and 4 additional dogs later and I have to fight for a spot now.

Yeah me too I was trying to think of something that might be excluded, and I couldn't. Maybe my brain just doesn't stretch into enough places.
