I was about to head up to bed last night when I saw the card that I have written all the workouts on.  Whoops, better get that done, so I did .  That is my biggest problem with core work, is just plain forgetting.  Happy for a rest day today!

This is definitely a challenge.  Listen to your body and be sure to modify as needed.  Be sure to stretch after your workouts.

I had to modify by doing sets.  I just can't do 30 straight leg raises.  I did 10, then relax for a deep breath, then 10 crunches, relax for one breath, then back to 10 leg raises, etc. until I did 30 each.  I don't know if this negates some of the benefit, but at least it allows me to get thru them.

It has been tough so far but I am really pushing myself to meet and exceed the daily goals. I know it will pay big divedends in the long run and it definately has motivated to quit ignoring core workouts. I will stay with it just like I do my running now that I am getting into the grove. I have justified not doing any core this past year by saying my core is getting plenty of work with all the running I do but in reality it has not.

Thanks for putting this challenge together, I really needed it!!!!!!!

Dee, I think sets are perfectly reasonable. In fact that is how I am getting things done.

I am going on vacation for a week with no internet. I have the workout list and will update when I get back. Keep on keeping on all.

Dee, Sets are the only sane way to do huge numbers of repetitive exercises. Especially ones that involve your back. It keeps the probability of injury low.

How is everyone doing?  Looks like we may have lost of a couple of people, no logging, etc.

I am finding this challenge, well, challenging.  I had to get myself out of bed the other night because I realized I had not done the exercises that day, LOL.  But I did them.

I had to do that a couple times with a previous core challenge.  I am still on board, I was very happy for the rest day yesterday.  I agree, it is challenging!

I did mine last night while hubby was watching Ninja Warrior.  I felt that I could not complain while watching what those guys were doing.  The workouts they must do to keep in shape and be able to do what they do.  There is no way I could hold myself up by my fingertips, let alone travel doing so.

Been slacking this week on abs challenge. Last saturday's BJJ session was hard on the ribs (think i got a cracked one) and they still hurt. I'll try to re-start the engine and roll a little more this week.

The boat was being tossed around. Someone noted that there were whitecaps on the waves. Another guy said, “This is going to be challenging.” I began to wonder what he meant by 'challenging'.

It’s a challenge to push yourself a little harder and a little further. Be proud of every workout that is accomplished and every step-even the baby ones-that you take on this course to the finishline.

The Boulder Peak bike course is legendary. It is, literally and named as such, one of the toughest bike legs in the country.
