How come it doesn't show up on New Threads? Are we being corralled? Then again, so is Amanda Beard.

Hey! Didja guys hear Sheila Taormina just qualified for her THIRD sport in the Olympics? That lady is a monster. Wow. I know that's "something" not "nothing" but that's so cool. Champion swimmer, champion triathlete, and now pentathlete. Pretty much just learned how to ride a horse and shoot, too.

Aikidoman - 2008-06-12 3:32 PM Right now, you can have her..... I just go beoched at on the phone because our dog ran away when she answered the door when the exterminator knocked.
Did the exterminator's van happen to have a picture of a dog on it?

At this point, I would gladly pay to have her exterminated (the dog, not the wife).  She has run away several times this month, must be the weather (the dog, nothe the wife).

She is REALLY starting to me off (The wife, not the dog......)

Why am I seeing a series of Freudian slips?

Anyway, the doggie ... it takes a little time, but you make it MORE worth her while to STAY than to GO (I mean, running off and all the excitement it causes is SUCH FUN ... so you gotta balance that out ...)

Doggie and wifey should go to dog training school ... it will lay the foundation for doggie learning a bomb-proof STAY.

Just a completely unsolicited yet free (probably what it's worth) professional opinion from someone whose own dog runs off roofs, walks into walls, and eats soap.

Nah, every word was chosen most carefully....

I would take soap, my "crazy" dog eats poop (or at least keeps bringing it into the house).  We keep finding him playing with some nice, white, dried up, "treasures".  Ick...

Spokes - 2008-06-12 2:52 PM See my thread on the bike storage room. Bike usage has shot up immensely in Sacramento, and its not just summer. The bike shops are being stripped of commuters and cruisers right now.

Yeah, and public transit is at an all time high in some cities, yet they want to raise the fare.  Huh?

My dog went on his first airplane ride the other day. My parents took him up just for a 'test ride' to see how he would handle it. I guess he was nervous, but did fine. Until they got out and my mom saw poop on the floor. Ummm... he was in her lap the whole time! She was baffled as to how she didn't notice him pooping. So am I, actually.

I'm tempted to do it not because of gas prices but because of RI cops. I live in MA, work in RI right over the border. The cops LOVE to target MA drivers. This morning a cruiser pulled in behind me 50 yards from the RI border and followed me right up to the entry to my employer's facility.

I have seen some other crazy stuff too.  A couple were "practicing" using a couple new scooters.  I have seen MANY more scooters going to work.  A neighbor down the street bought matching hybrids.

I'm curios how much that will save on gas bills.

Probably quite a bit.  At least the scooters would.

Yeah. The hybrids, not so much, since they cost so much more than the equivalent class regular car.

Mwah ha ha ... actually, I'm slowly trying to take over the SE Asia triathlon world ...

Sadly, my daddy-o is really sick again so I'm going home (Indonesia). Nicely, my sister scored me free entry to Bali Internation Triathlon and two nights at the host resort hotel. Boo-yah!

I'm probably also going to do IM Malaysia as my first, because I am very, very sick.
