Yeah I know that freak

Will you keep me posted throughout, CLetus? Thanks.

James Rudd!!!  Def keep me updated on that clown. Him and Dan I'll be watching closely. Dan should be kicking and James should be barely making it out alive due to recent injuries. Good luck to them both.

Running around doing errands, cleaning the house, enjoying the beautiful weather here in Chi-Town, but will have the computer on all day for updates...GOOD WORK BT'ERS!!! Keep it up!  And hats off to all the other BT'ers who are either volunteering or out there jockstrapping...I think we have a strong contingent of our gang out there all over the course!

SPECTACTULAR weather here today-- Just got back from mile 4 of the bike, where Whizzzzzzz and Coredump were directing traffic.  It's sunny, a very slight breeze, and not too hot.  Lots of smiles on the riders as they came by, but it was mile 4, so they better be smiling!

I'm heading back out in a few hours....

I think we will see Rob move to the front of our leader board coming off the bike and he can crush the run. His bike training pacing has been amazing and he can run a 3:10-3:15 marathon off the bike, IMO. I think Dan will be a close second, his pacing has also been great and very consistent. Either way, one or both will be in contention for a Kona slot.

Just between gear bag duty this AM.  It is awesome weather here, a bit cool in the shade.  Didnt think they could have better weather than last year but could be on track if it holds.  Did T1 gear bag duty and got to see mndiver, birkie, djdavey, firstnet911.  The Mrs saw Yams and mutri.  Man, talk about chaos in there!  Good times though.  Gonna head over and watch the pros come in from the run and scope out a spot!  Go BTers!

Hey everyone, I was out there for the swim start and stayed until the last bike was on the course. It was an incredible morning and is looking to be a great race day. I quickly posted some pics here:

http://picasaweb.google.com/LazyMarathoner/IronmanWisconsin2008Part1#

I haven't edited or checked them so there might be duplicates, some blurry and some going in the wrong direction, but thought you might enjoy getting a glimpse of the race so far.

I'm off to take my volunteer post in T2, then on to the run course!

Also, I didn't see any BTers this morning, but I spotted "Team Tammy" it was tripletmom1's crew. I have a list of BT numbers and recognized it on their t-shirts.

Hillary Biscay is doing an awesome job in the women's race. She's been in the lead the entire time, which is amazing considering she just did IMKY last weekend! I believe IMWI is her 8th ironman this year? Insane!!

Look's like Faulkner is not going to do the entire marathon though - this from the Live Update:

Kona-bound Faulkner not planning on completing the run
Nat Faulkner won a Kona slot at the Ironman 70.3 California race in April, so the word is that he's not planning on doing the entire marathon here today, just one loop.
