James Rudd!!!  Def keep me updated on that clown. Him and Dan I'll be watching closely. Dan should be kicking and James should be barely making it out alive due to recent injuries. Good luck to them both.

That's what I saw I guess I was hoping that wasn't right..

Running around doing errands, cleaning the house, enjoying the beautiful weather here in Chi-Town, but will have the computer on all day for updates...GOOD WORK BT'ERS!!! Keep it up!  And hats off to all the other BT'ers who are either volunteering or out there jockstrapping...I think we have a strong contingent of our gang out there all over the course!

SPECTACTULAR weather here today-- Just got back from mile 4 of the bike, where Whizzzzzzz and Coredump were directing traffic.  It's sunny, a very slight breeze, and not too hot.  Lots of smiles on the riders as they came by, but it was mile 4, so they better be smiling!

I'm heading back out in a few hours....

go go go !!!  Go fast.

Wow... I wish there were more mats just so we could get more updates.   But I'll done with most of my junk work today so I can tune it here more often now

That will suck it that is the case. Guess it will be all football this afternoon and come back to Ironman.com when the bikes roll in

Hey everyone, I was out there for the swim start and stayed until the last bike was on the course. It was an incredible morning and is looking to be a great race day. I quickly posted some pics here:

I haven't edited or checked them so there might be duplicates, some blurry and some going in the wrong direction, but thought you might enjoy getting a glimpse of the race so far.

I'm off to take my volunteer post in T2, then on to the run course!

Also, I didn't see any BTers this morning, but I spotted "Team Tammy" it was tripletmom1's crew. I have a list of BT numbers and recognized it on their t-shirts. 

Yep I will let you know....

Nat Faulkner won a Kona slot at the Ironman 70.3 California race in April, so the word is that he's not planning on doing the entire marathon here today, just one loop.
