I just swam in our river here as prep for the Augusa 70.3 swim.  It was around 70ish degrees and I did not wear a wetsuit- wish I would have worn mine.  It was pretty cold- and then it made me think of the IM CDA swim and how cold that will be even with a full wetsuit.  Does anyone know the average lake temp for the race?

I have serious trouble with cold temperatures.

In fact, I was unable to finish the last (my supposed first ) IM CDA because of hypothermia and I have Raynaud's (arteries in extremities spasm and constrict in response to cold temperatures and vibration, leading to severe blanching and loss of circulation ).

The swim (in a full wetsuit, no ear plugs or double cap ) was the warmest part of my day.
