I think you have come up with some great ideas, but I would suggest keeping your cats on the "expensive" food. The other food is cheap for a reason, because its just not as good. I work as a vet tech and have seen numerous health problems arise with cats (and dogs) due to poor quality food. The owners end up bringing in very sick animals (which sometimes require surgery) and leave with a fairly substantial vet bill. So, my advice is to pay the money now (for the good stuff) in order to avoid paying the money later (for the vet bill) Elly After many responses, I will be keeping my kitties on Science Diet |
