Because a man can get hit by a car and not be injured? Eff that, I'm throwing her into the path so I don't get hit! Yeah. I'm a catch. I open doors for everyone and hold them open for strangers be it man or woman. I will say I don't do the hand on the small of the back helping a girl threw the door thing on a date, seems a little creepy to me. For the walking on the street side yes I think it is more in populated areas just in case something came up on the curb. I heard / read somewhere that the man walking on the outside of the street started in the cities back before they had plumbing. The reason was that people used to throw their slop / water buckets out the window from the second or 3rd floor into the street. The man walked on the outside as a courtesy to the woman, so she wouldn't have it dumped on her - or get splashed by it. So the story goes. Wow... I had no idea that I was so lucky. Though I am taller and also stronger than you so it actually makes sense for me to walk on the outside. Don't worry Tony, I'll protect you! |

I would "apply" but you live in Kansas! grrrr I'll play - if there (see, I know the difference) are any single ladies in the Washington area. 40, single, 1 child (10 year old son) - do not want any more kids. Kind, Sincere, Honest and I have integrity. Love trying new things, very active - sense of humor, appropriately sarcastic and I can be witty @ times. I love to travel, and checking out new places. Oh - one last thing - I am a guy that knows how to communicate my feelings, but I am not a crier. |

Expert ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() I'll Play...
27 year old male from western Illinois. Never married, no kids.
New to triathlon, but learning to love it everyday. I love to work out, listen to music, read, watch movies. I love to cook, and I tend to believe I am fairly good at it, nothing better then having a good home cooked meal. Nothing is more important to me then family & friends. Baseball and Golf are my 2 favorite sports, but I can and do watch/participate in any of them. |

Pro ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Guess I'll play, too. Divorced male, 50, two kids, both boys. I live and work in Center City Philly. Did my years in the 'burbs when the kids were small and have no intentions of moving out of the city. I like restaurants and having almost everything within walking distance. Like a lot of people on here, I do geeky stuff for a living, have a Ph.D. in Genetics and work as a scientist. So, let's see...something random...The most important room in the house is the kitchen, nothing is more relaxing than having someone to talk to while cooking and drinking wine. |
