Okay, yes...Brent is the short one.

Not sad to see Monster truck leave.

Good hustle by the goat farmers...getting out and directing traffic...AWESOME.  That's way better than sitting around whining that your cab stinks!

Fairly straightforward leg otherwise.

Now I kinda like all the teams left...I will start being really really sad as people get eliminated.

Next week looks like some definite drama and shake ups...missed connections and a missing cabby????

Seriously.... no mention of the evil twins? I can't stand them. Taking thier money wasn't right. No they didn't "steal it". The guys "lost" it. but it was right then right there. the twins KNEW it was theirs. The other team KNEW it was theirs. If they saw them drop it and didn't say something that is one thing, but they scooped it up as soon as they got up.... ERRRR

I'm sorry... I don't need to cheat, you to beat you. I can't wait for karma to catch up with them.

And then... what an awesome scramble by the guys. Scrounged up some money and didn't really even loose much time. See... that's karma.

Moster trucker... ya he doesn't follow... he leads.... his way right to the end of the race. No way I could wait on a train like that in a race. Chipendales made the right decision to bail. Great hustle.

Goat farmers... ya it was tight and they were just sitting in the cab and even I thought... run to where there isn't a traffic jam and get another cab.... but what a great hustle by them to get traffic moving... maybe it wasn't THAT bad... but still, they didn't just sit there, they did something.

I hate the twinnies even more now.  What a bunch of suckbags.  At least the Texas guy didn't feel good about this but his girl who appears to be sweet is a suckbag as well.  They are going to get theirs in this race.  I've seen karma come around so many times in this show.  Good job to the rockers for rallying.  Monster truck guy was a jerk and deserved to go for nothing other than that stupid rolling luggage.

Clearly the twinnies have no moral fiber. Anyone else get the feeling the rockers finding the lady with the money was staged.   Felt like a scene out of the Truman show.  She magically appeared with the amount of money the needed to continue the race. I was surprised and disappointed that Phil never mentioned what they twinnies did. Maybe he wasn't aware what happened?

Was the Monster truck dood about to cry?

I thought the same thing about the lady being staged! And I think the twins will get theirs in the end. I was really disappointed that Phil did not even bring it up.

I don't see how what the twins did is any worse than other teams flat out lying about "we don't know where we are" (when they do) or seeing something else important left behind and doing nothing about it.  They guys could have had a non-racer find their money...just like that team that dropped a passport outside a gas station.  If a non-racer had found it they probably wouldn't have gotten it back either.

They definitely didn't "steal" it...they didn't go into their bags and take it out.  They found money laying on the floor and picked it up.

That being said, karma does come around in this race.  They could have used the money to strike a deal with the rockers (like a "you won't u-turn us" deal) or something.

I wonder how much money these teams are carrying around at this point.  The chippendales made the comment that they are barely eating so that they can save their money and not run out.  I'd love to see how the budget works out over the course of the race.  Perhaps Kido can enlighten us after debriefing his friends after the season is over. :D

to me, stealing is taking something that is not yours, they knew who the money belong too and made the decision to take it from them. So yeah, I see it as stealing

I agree with you jford.  If I find a wad of cash, and I have in the past, first thing I do is figure out how I can get it back to the rightful owner.  If it goes unclaimed for a period of time then I keep it, figuring Karma was in my favor. They knew it was the rockers, the right thing to do was to ask them if they lost their cash and return it.  They knew it was wrong, which is why they dragged the other team into it, buy getting them to take some of the cash.

I didn't see the rockers get money from a guy.

Wow....NOT seeing the "possession?" of someone elses money where you know it can only be one of a very few is not stealing apparently....?

The race producers had a chance to set the moral tone for the show and failed miserably. You cannot let teams knowingly take money regardless of how it was acquired. Surprised the Texas team was in on it but it only goes to show that when you dangle a million bucks in front of peoples noses their true nature and character come out.

I hope something truly egregious happens to those teams - a taxi breakdown, poor local support etc so that karma can be served.

Hopefully the producers tighten up the rules - the helping, stealing and the lying is getting out of hand and ruining the show over the last few seasons

Well it's all staged... I mean we watch the show... but these are not bums off the street begging for money... they are Americans with a camera crew following them around. I'm sure things happen off camera or before they turn them on.... but what else are you going to do in a race with a camera crew following you around.

The fact that they knew who the money belonged to pushed this right over the edge from "game play" to "just plain wrong", in my opinion.  When the Rockers and Texas ended up in the spa together at first, I wondered if they would mention it to the guy who probably would have squealed.   I am usually the first person to defend game play decisions like using a U-turn or giving misleading directions, but this didn't sit well with me. They will have a tough time living that down.

I also wondered if the money was staged.  Seriously, in a place like Bangladesh, do we believe there are people hanging around with that much money?  I think it was given by more than one person, but what I could see a CBS producer running ahead and saying "here, a couple of guys will ask for money, give them this" and then sort of directing them to this group "Hey, there's a group of flush looking citizens ahead, ask them."    Did this group of bystanders also happen to have American dollars on them?  or did they magically give them the Bangladeshi equivalent?  Smells fishy to me (although, the right thing to do.

It was a great episode for James and Jaymes and also Beekman bros.  Go team!

The thing is... I don't really care what somebody else thinks if what I did was right or wrong... I only care if I think what I did was right or wrong... and I do have a line of what is right and wrong.

The twinnies KNEW it was wrong. They said it was wrong. They wanted to involve others to make it easier to do wrong. They split the money to "split the GUILT"... it was wrong. PERIOD. Their words, not mine.

I get that the rockers made the mistake, and you do not have to help them recover from their mistakes... but they knew taking their money was wrong.

Ya... how the money works is interesting... because sometimes it is set amounts, and they don't have a lot of extra... how ever they work it, I like it. Because they do not have cash to use and have to rely on their skills instead of bribes.

That's always funny... why even bother asking. I wouldn't... I would not trust any info I got. Easier just not to ask.... unless you had some sort of friendly relationship and you had worked with them before.

Seriously?  They knew who the money belonged to and kept it, that is stealing.

It's not at all like lying about where we are.  Without the money they can't eat or get a cab basically ending their race right there.  If you are lost it's on you to find it but not on you to steal the other teams money.

It does not end your race right then and there.  There was an episode a few seasons back (maybe last season) where a team was out of money...they talked a cabbie into giving them a free ride.  There are other options.  Your race is only over if you let it be over.

What would everyone have had the twins do instead?  Just never pick up the money?  The rockers thought they dropped it in the cab anyway and probably wouldn't have found it inside the travel agency.  Would it have been okay if they kicked it under the desk out of sight?

This is a GAME.  If you don't do anything outside the rules you didn't do anything wrong.  I hate the sharing info, lying, etc. as much as the next person, but the fact remains that those things are allowed by the rules.  If it wasn't allowed in the rules Phil would have told them that when they got to the mat.

I have changed my opinion of the twins from tough competitors to a couple of arrogant little prima donnas.  It was not only the stealing the money (which some could argue was part of the game) but the comments like "stupid rockers" and there was another I can't remember the specifics exactly but was in the same vain.  I just think in real life I would not like them or their attitude.

I also thought the speed bump was pretty lame.  Go out and eat an ice cream cone??  Why not go out and eat monkey brains or something difficult tough like in past races.

So in a triathlon do you let the air out of your competitors tires?  I mean they should have brought another tube right?

Yeah, I thought that was weak as well.  They seem like they're getting easier and easier.

I liked the twins for a while, I liked their enthusiasm, but now, not even counting the $ thing, they just seem more petty and immature.  I was impressed by the rockers not blowing themselves up when they lost their money (imagine what the big brother girl's reaction would've been!) and just going out and doing something about it.  I doubt the show would plant $ for them (with a million bucks on the line I'm sure some lawyers for the other teams would have somethig to say about them being given any help by the show) but I'm sure having a camera and sound guy in tow helped a lot.

Wow, I can not believe that anyone would not think that it was stealing (Jen  ).  You're in Bangladesh, one of the poorest countries in the world, in a race where everyone was given 5 $20 bills, in a room with 2 of those other teams, you know one team still has theirs (it actually looked like it was lying on a table rather than being dropped, like one of the rocker dudes put it there, but no way to know), I mean really.  The twins knew it was the rockers, picked it up, and took it anyway.  Texas folded their morals too (at least the guy did)

Yes, it's a game, but personally I would never want to play a game that way.  Telling someone you haven't found the clue yet, when you have, is different than outright stealing someone else's property.  One is lying, one is stealing.  That a team lied does not have any effect on another team's ability to complete a task.  Now, if a team completed a task and then told another team that the task was to be performed at some distant location, causing that team to lose time searching for something that doesn't exist, that would be wrong too.  I have not seen that happin in AR.

That it turned out OK is not the point.  That the rockers thought they lost it in a cab is not the point.

I was kind of thnking that maybe we'd see a penalty, or even a DQ, for stealing another team's property. There have to be some written rules (i.e., must not use your own finances to buy a ticket, can't go in first class, etc).  I wonder what they are, and if they include anything at all about messing with other people's stuff.

To answer the question, I would have had the twins say "hey, who dropped their money?"  That's what I would have done.  And if I didn't win a million dollars?  Well, so be it.

I am apparently a horrible person.  Sue me.

Not saying I would have done what they did...but I probably wouldn't have just handed it back to the rockers either...this is a game...for a million dollars...a game in which the way to win is to capitalize off your competitors mistakes...sad, but true.  The last leg always ends up being everyone getting off the plane at the same time...you have to be good AND you have to hope your competition messes up.

Kudos to those ripping the "twinnies."  I hope they lose.  That said, why haven't more folks ripped the team complicit in the dirty deed?  Was the name Lexi?  The heavier less attractive blonde on the show, and her partner...they knew what happened AND split the stolen money!  I was completely...(do I dare use the word again in COJ?) ...outraged!  There, I said it.

I was totally disappointed in both of the guilty teams.  Ick.

The difference is the Rockers DROPPED their money...they LOST it.  Another team PICKED IT UP.

Wholly different than deliberately taking tools/equipment/etc. from what is deemed a race safe spot (I would bet that actually taking another team's backpack is against the rules for example).

I agree, both teams should have at least been asked about, but if they ounish one, then they should punish both involved.
