LOL!! That is pretty darn good. I can't stop laughing... The more I look at the pictures, I really can't tell the difference between the two.

Seriously, though. You guys will go down on Sunday. I think the PP challenge will go down in history, just like other sporting events like the "rumble in the jungle" or the "Thrilla in Manilla" or the "immaculate reception". And this being the 1st annual one, I just wouldn't want to be the team that loses.... Although, I think team2 really doesn't have anything to worry about.

(That's Team 1... I'm christening our team the PP Weiners.) If you're fast, it doesn't matter what your name is. Call us whatever you want. We still win. Kiss

Yea - that just doesn't look right if you get team T-shirts.

MarkK - 2006-08-15 7:42 PM jowisc, you got it all wrong....see, your wife was actually providing you the aerodynamic push provided the forward rider in a two person paceline. Its a very little known theory that I discovered riding with CindyK (thats my story and I'm sticking to it). So in actuallity, it was your wife who was doing all the work and you were the beneficary to all her hard work. So, you should thank her for pushing you around all morning..... Just ask your wife, I'm sure that she'll agree

Whoa!!  who's pushing who, here?  This would imply that you can actually get ahead of me without a head start.....

Swim area will open Sat afternoon, I would imagine.  Kids tri is done by noon, or at least it was the past 2 years.

Shmize, I think you should do your team a favor and organize a group swim.  All the way around the lake.  Burn off some excess energy.

B) PP Warriors (from defacto leader's avatar and bike name)
C) PP Posse
D) Frontrunners
E) Pleasant Presence

You guys are already behind and the race hasn't even started yet.  Here's a little something for ya!

The PP Weiner Trash Talkin’ Fight Rap

We came from far, we came from wide
We all came here to tan your hide.
If you ask “how fast?” the answer’s "VERY"
And you’ll find out in the Pleasant Prairie.

Jowisc has the speed you can’t deny
Sit yo azz down cuz the boy can FLY!
Get your clubs out you’ll have more fun golfin’
Cuz triingforsept swims like a dolphin.

There ain’t no competition for Whizz and CindyK
You may think your girls are bad but at the end of the day
To these two super-hoss tri chicks
An OLY like this is just a training brick.

I’m the head Weiner and I’m hangin’ loose
Talkin’ all the smack and stirrin’ up the juice.
Don’t wanna hear no lip don’t gimme no talk-back
I got the three most awesome little jockstraps.

So come and get your spankings
Cuz you’re dropping in the rankings
And when the race is done you’ll say
Wow, those Weiners came to play!

Peace.  \lll/

Outstanding! I am going to lose my job I am laughing so hard!! That is awesome!

Not that we will need it but I think we get 2 minutes taken off our total time for creativity points.

Nice job hangloose. So this is what people do with their extra time in a taper week.

Garbage. "The PP Weiner Trash Talkin’ Fight Rap" isn't worth the thread space its taking up. What is this, the super bowl shuffle? I hope you guys race like you rap or poetry write, or whatever that was.

I would take the five people on my team into battle with you chumps, anytime, anywhere. And yes we do have a name, we aren't late, but it will be revealed at a press release, tomorrow around noon - its more dramatic that way. I can tell you all are sitting at the edge of your chair waiting for the release.

More to come.....

Schmize

PS. If you are on team one, stop reading now. Team 2 - I have a couple of votes for our name, but I need your input before noon (err, the press release).

Hangloose - first off, hilarious (again on the fast stuff i hope i don't dissapoint); second, what do you do for a living that you have the time to type all that out; and third, can i work there also?

Check out my sig line...I took the liberty to edit a bit.

Wow, those WienerDogs certainly have a lot of extra time on their hands, don't they? I'm thinkin' their bark is just a little bit louder than their bite's gonna be.....

(of course, I think that the rap needs to be performed at dinner on Saturday so it can be recorded on tape for posterity's sake.....)

It's called a taper.  You might want to try it.

(of course, I think that the rap needs to be performed at dinner on Saturday so it can be recorded on tape for posterity's sake.....)

Thanks for volunteering.

Side note:  I was 100% right about my kids, uh, positive and enthusiastic reaction to our team name.   The started dancing around and thrusting and pointing at their crotches saying "PP Weiners! PP Weiners!" and laughing hysterically.

I tried to explain that PP is short for Pleasant Prairie, the town where the race is and Weiners is because we all like hot dogs.  That stopped them for about a half a second and then they started laughing and pointing again.

Do you have any idea how much therapy for this is going to cost me?
