No, I knew that it was his second coming. But I just always think of apocalypse as death and destruction and such. The word, anyway, does not conjure up happy pictures. only if you read the apocalyptic texts from an outside perspective. From an inside perspective, you read the unjust folks receiving their deserts... and then God acting to make a new reality. Because you know... there is death and destruction already... it ain't a happy place right now. |

I mention this to the coordinator for the IRB board that I sit on for the university here... she says, "I have a laptop just sitting there. Use it." So I now am using a new-to-me laptop on loan from the uni... it's a little old, but works great for what I need. w00t! |

Stupid garage. if you have a good relationship with them, it can't hurt to ask. they might let you borrow for race day, at least (depending on your training background and the distance of the race that may be useless, but if you've logged tons of miles this year and it's a sprint, no biggie) |
