| Chatham Ontario | Subject: RE: TAN #184 UnrepenTANt The downside of Canadian Thanksgiving mid separation with your wife and my family all working was that I had dinner by myself last night and that was kinda Poopy. The upside I knew I was alone so I BBQ Steak (I rarely eat red meat), made a nice spinach salad and made my own homemade Butternut squash stuffed ravioli. Home made Dough and all. First time I have made my own ravioli noodles. Damn it tasted good too. But hand rolling pasta dough SAWWWWWKS.
And a girl who is a friend of mine stopped by quick after supper and brought me some pumpkin pie and whip cream. Kind of made my night after a sad day.

I would prefer Drinking Beer right now. Screw the labels. Bring on any kind. Prost! My one and only time in Germany was this past super bowl sunday. Our flight to Heathrow was diverted due to a whopping 1/2" of snow and they overnighted us in Frankfurt. Our group paid the bartender 200euros to stay open. I don't know what I drank, but it was good. The game started at midnight local time and ended about 5:30AM. Just enough time to catch the shuttle to the airport and try to catch flights to England. |

And I know of a few over in Detroit that still do this. I have always wanted to go over for a football game or something and go in for a shave and a hair cut. Just for that old school feeling.
