Today is going to be a 20 hr day - four flights, a bunch of meetings and zero fun.  Currently hanging at the airport on a layover watching the World Series.  Home in 4 hours, been up since 3 am.

Trying to figure out if I could get down to the finish line in time to see you finish, but, unless you are on the 12hr HIM plan, I can't make it...

that would be awesome!   but keep in mind this is a smaller even ~600 people racing.  that's a long drive and it might get a little boring.  i'll email you more.

Gotta teach Sunday school from 11:00-12:00 - absolute earliest I could be there would be about 4:00PM - you'd better be done and back home by then....

i hope to be wearing June's tiara from her Halloween costume while tip toeing across the finish line WELL before 4. 

we'll get a ride or two in on the lone star course.  i'll show you where i'll be passing you guys on the bike.  and where i'll be waving to sam from on the run, second lap, as she's coming in off the bike.

What a weekend for the group. As Steve said it's like the culmination of a great big party. It makes me want to be out there and doing a race too. Good luck to everyonme and kick A$$.

Hey guys!  Been MIA for a while - work and life in general have been busy lately.  I'm still getting some workouts in but not much time for playing on the computer (when I have access to a working one that is). 

Sounds like it's going to be a great weekend for races here.  I'm not doing one myself, but will be heading down to Jeff City to watch my daughter's XC team compete in the state meet (she won't be running since she's JV and only varsity runs - we're going down for moral support).  Both the girl's and boy's teams qualified at the sectional meet last weekend.  It will be tough for them to place at state - they have some good runners, but other parts of the state have really good teams.  We'll just have to see how it goes.
