Aikidoman - 2009-01-15 12:49 PM   Too much get's misunderstood or missrepresented via the internet, IMO.

Tis true. People like to read waaaay more into posts than what is really there.

I have a hard time letting someone accuse me of something when I didn't say anything remotely like what they were reading into my posts. I have to call them out on it.

I just had a tastey apple.  I just realize I should eat more fruit, which is next to never.  As well as more leafy veggies.  I do ok, but could do much better in that category.  I usually stick to peas/corn/greanbeans.

Never been a salad guy, unless I can go to sweet tomatos or soup-r salad.

BBQ pork sandwich, fresh-cut fries, sweet tea.

You're jealous.

of the sweet tea I am... what is it about the Mason-Dixon line that stops sweet tea?  Is there are federal statute prohibiting sweet tea outside of the South?

i think that decision is best left up to the states.

Very well-played.  +rep2u

It's actually only recently starting to make its way west of the AL/MS border too.

me to.  I thinks it's funny (not at the time), that people will call out some example, or take issue with something I said, completely out of context.  We could be both on the same side of the original arguement, but they will argue about some example I used.  The conversations rarely stay on point.  There are often a dozen other small arguements going on at the same time which cloud the original conversation.

then I feel like I'm getting attacked from all sides, all about something different.  Waste of time.

The people on the other side of the Mason-Dixon line have no idea how to correctly make sweet tea.

I think I'm going to lie/cheat/steal my way out of the office early today.  I want to get my workout done early and enjoy an empty house for a couple hours.

What's the diff?  Not being calous, I just don't know....  Does adding it to hot water do something different than adding suger to cold tea and disolving it?

I explained that to my family, too.  To be fair, I had no idea when I was living in Wisconsin.  It's kind of an art form.

It dissolves much better in the hot water.  It never really fully dissolves in the cold tea.  Plus, it gets to sit in the sugary water and that seems to make the tea & sugar flavor a little more concentrated.

At least as far as I can figure out...

How about using a simple syrup?  Sugar disloved in hot water then let cool.  You can add to taste to your tea.

I think that's what my dream was, not that it's coming back to me...

Kewl, I just scheduled a V02 Max test (for the bike) in February I'd do it for the run too, but it's expensive, and I can't really time-trial right now on the run, so I need some time to get back in decent shape.
