How does everyone stave off winter boredness especially when there's nothingto do? One day Igotta move off but I'm a little stuck for now. Ice hockey ![](https://beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/images/emoticons/smile.gif) Lolz We're lucky to have moved to a pretty great climate. Gets a bit hot in the summer, but all in is awesome. In the good cold days (wow, what a bad pun), we would endure the winter by... dressing for it and getting outside! No bad weather, just inappropriate clothing. In truth, there were a lot of runs on the 'mill and rides on the drainer, but we'd tog up and run/ride in almost any degree of cold, as long as there was no ice (bike) or a semblance of a path (run). Got chilly, but we just went. On the days we couldn't: put on a pot of chili in the morning, workout inside (sometimes a run and a ride to break it up and get a good one in, or go to the pool), build a fire, grab a beer, watch football (or a cheezy movie) and eat chili! LOTS of Sundays passed happily enough like that. (all that said, this weather is waaaaaay better) ![](/js/tiny_mce4.0.8/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif) Matt |
