What's up with the Energy Packs now? I have no idea why it won't send and I can't receive them consistently anymore. Something changed recently and I can't find a reference to it anywhere.

Its not about how much mafia you have, its about how much mafia you have, how you've spend your upgrade points, and the weapons you are using. If you have 500 mafia, with bad weapons, then its entirely possible that someone with half the resources is beating you if they are loaded with the best weapons.

Have you checked out any of the tools that access what you are using to fight, like "what im using" from the ultimate mafia wars tools? Thats a great applet that shows you what you are using for attack and defense in each of the 3 different breakdowns, weapons, armor, vehicles.

I guess I don't understand this - though I have seen folks asking for them. Granted, I have a large Mafia (over 600), but when I claim an energy pack, I also send an energy pack to all of my mafia. I assume that many from my mafia do the same thing, because everyday after the 23 hours elapse, I have one waiting for me. Is this not the case with others with fairly large gangs?

It's having the same effect as the "updates" listing when you are on the MW homepage. There's so many that I don't even bother with trying to read thru them anymore.

i had 4 people respond to a Moscow job assist request the other day, and i received a message saying i'd gained 21% job mastery, but my mastery didn't change, it's still stuck at 51%. do i have to actually do the job myself to get the increase? or do more than 4 people have to respond for the job mastery increase to kick in? i've never understood how this is supposed to work.

When the NY Finishing thing was going on, after you got the ship thing to 100% you could keep doing the job and every time you would get 15 - 20 of some loot you need for the Underboss/Boss tier and another Cargo Ship. I think I have 3, maybe 4.

The movie loot is out today. I've gotten a fur coat and a rifle. The rifle is pretty bad azz.

I gave up trying to get people to assist me on the jobs, as the bar would never move. I have been just dropping a ton of energy into the jobs. Since I finished NY and Cuba, I figure it might also help to keep me excited with MW until the next location opens.

Sometimes you have to request help multiple times. If you are mastering the first tier I think it's 10% per response, but on the 2nd and 3rd it's less. I just keep reposting them until it's done.

For anyone who hasn't done so yet I highly recommend that you buy the last Moscow business and upgrade it all the way. It pays out more than all of the other businesses combined.

The Dillenger's Wooden Gun is a nice item as well. I also got prison stripes, Public Enemy #1 Newspaper, and a V8. The newspaper is not bad either.

It appears when you do NYC jobs, they give you an option to "launder loot" like the "get help" option. It happened ONCE when I was playing the wifes account (she still has some NYC to finish).

I usually only fight or fill hitlists when I'm close to leveling up...... So I go to the hitlist and there's 1 name, who has been there for 1 hour +. I give it a try, thinking that he's a level zillion and I'll get smoked, but I win. Cool. I ended up attacking him over 100 times, including 3 health refills. Good news, I used all my stamina. Bad news, he still lives (wtf???). Worse news, I'm sure I'm going to pay some sort of price for attacking somebody over 100 times in like 6 minutes.
