Awesome good for you.

It is always a good sign in my mind when you are in the casual meeting/interview. It means the person interviewing is comfortable as well.

Best of luck to you. I hope you are excited to possibly make a move.

For some reason I feel exhausted.

I didn't even wake up when Amie fed the baby. But We did get woke up a tad early. Also ok I was able to get up and give Amie her new Wonder Woman coffee mug for her birthday today.

And my daughter turns 6 months old today as well. WOW now I understand when people say time flies with kids.

WOWEE this is crazy....how are you feeling about the job?  the chances of getting the job?  and salad is far too awkward to eat.  what ISN'T awkward to eat in an interview???

I know, I almost got soup but the vision of slurping and spilling it on my suit was too much.

I got the distinct feeling I am the last person standing - very personalized vocabulary to ME, LISA, in the position. Maybe he's doing that for other people, I have no idea. But it was language like "you'll have to figure out who to coordinate with on this type of thing, but I know you'll have no problems figuring it out" - and "What I"ll need you to do is work with Susie on my schedule if I need to be at an event, you'll love her" - that type of thing.

I felt great about it!

Similar thing when I had my 5th interview here with the plant manager for about 2 hours. It was very casual and he spent about 30 mins talking about this company and the job and where he envisioned me a couple years from now in the company. Maybe it was an attempt to sell me on a progressive future. But the other 90 mins was casual conversation about myself. You kind of know at that point you have nailed it skills wise and they are double checking personality for fit.

I am ashamed about the thoughts that popped into my head that made me laugh when I was thinking of how to respond to this. It probably would have been more of a Cord/Brad/Pitt response!

Anyways, good luck on the interviews!

Was Kielbassa the special of the day? Followed by a banana for dessert?

Seriously Lisa: That all sounds very positive. Hopeful for you...

I knew this would be a long week, even though it is a short week. Thursday, the family is flying out to Colorado for some spring skiing. I can't wait either. I can't wait to see my 5 yr old cruising down the mountain!  He is going to love it!

Nice I just got back from Colorado! We did Breckenridge 2 days and Keystone 1 day.
We also noticed the place we were renting was for sale - looked it up and it's only listed at $800K! And it's in one of those neighborhoods that has a property management company take care of everything, so I can't imagine the other fees. But it was sure fun to think about buying

My aunt had a cabin in Breckenridge. Had a snowmobile and the lake was frozen enough to use it there. Such a great place.

The temperature is forecast to be 23 F tonight at the lake house and I am on the phone asking the boat dealer to go up tomorrow or Thursday to de-winterize the boat.  I am counting on a boat ride/maybe skiing on Sunday.  Do you think I am a bit too optimistic that spring will be here when I want it?  Forecast says high of 66 F and sunny on Sunday, lows in the  mid 30's.  What would TAN do?

Play early. Be a winner.

Here's my day so far and the subsequent fallout. Players are me and counterparty at home office.
Me- I'm going to send you an email that states the calculations in the table you sent me were wrong, and that we can not hold this trade to maturity because locally we are not able to liquidate in this currency. Also copied on the mail will be my legal guy that needs the confirmation so he can draft a letter to the client. Understood, right ?
Other guy- OK got it, Understood. Calculations were wrong due to software glitch and can not hold trade to maturity due to liquidation restrictions.

Mail comes. He confirms the exact opposite. I'm like are you fricking kidding me. I will do everything in my power to get this idiot fired.....

I like your optimistic thoughts.

I used to try and ski on the weekend closest to my birthday, which is coming up on Thursday.  Back in the old days, I did this without a wetsuit.  I won't be doing it that way if I go in this weekend.  Water temperature is about 50 up in the cove and colder in the main channel.  I saw my crazy neighbor barefoot on a warm day in January.  He was in a wetsuit top and bare footing pants.  That is just showing off.  If it really is sunny, it might be ok.  We will probably just go for ride.  We are headed to Brazil for a couple of weeks in April so this weekend may be my only chance for a while.

It is sunny and breezy here in Atlanta today.  The cherry trees are in bloom.  It is like a pink snowfall in the neighborhoods with the petals that have fallen off the trees.  I gather that much of the northeast is getting the real stuff.

Have a good day.

If the boyfriend comes into a LOT of money, my uncle is a homebuilder in the Vail--Red Sky-Eagle areas... he could hook ya up with a place for just a couple million.

I've only ever been out to Colorado for enjoyment once, and it was in the warmer weather so I never got to check out the skiing

Been there twice for work, but never long enough to do anything fun.

Ah, Colorado.  My soul belongs there - it pains me that I'm not...

Anyway.  Sorry about the snow.  Played a round of golf on Sunday in shorts and a T-shirt.  Absolutely beautiful today as well.  Mid 70's, sunny, no wind.  May hit the range or go for a run or both.

It started snowing here at about 10 am, and is still snowing.
I am not getting any Peeps, but this is one of my favorite sites this time of year: http://www.peepresearch.org

(second favorite is www.dhmo.org)

The GF is going away for a week on Thursday with her kids, and so I am puppy sitting for one of the dogs (she is taking the other).
