Wow, there is a lot of peachy activity in this group.

Sorry I have been AWOL, had a HIM on Sunday over in Maryland, so this included two days' worth of driving both ways. I don't think that cross country driving counts as an activity. I had the naiive notion that I might be able to do some working out in the hotel room, but that didn't happen.

ANYWAY...back on track this week!

How was the race?  FWIW, I think you're entitled to a couple days off for a HIM!

Hey team - so glad the peach challenge is motivating so many of you!!

For me, i've put it on hold a bit (funny since I started the challenge) in light of some medical stuff (nothing serious) but need to get myself sorted.  I hope to pick it back up soon and want to keep encouraging everyone!

Thank you! I think we all know that we should recover after a race but it is still nice to hear it.

Race was very challenging - it was raining and temps were in the 50s.  It was actually kind of a miserable day.  I think a lot of people opted to bag the race, judging by the turnout. Since I had driven so far, I didn't feel like that was an option. I finished vertically and that's really about all I could hope for!

Jen, hope things go ok for you with the medical stuff.  Take time and get everything resolved.  Still check in here tho because you are the wise woman that started this challenge.  The challenge has helped me tremendously because at the time we began, I was struggling with back issues; this challenge has really helped pull me out of a funk.  So we definitely want you to keep popping back in.  Good luck with everything!

Got in an early peach for me today, normally I am a late nighter but had to get a car in for service so took the opportunity to get in an hour of trail running. Cool morning but perfect out on the trails.

Peachy week 2 in the books for me!  Week 3 will be a challenge.  Doing a 2 day bus trip Tuesday & Wednesday.  No idea what the hotel will have.  I'm taking my stretch band to keep up with resistance training and my peachy week!  Saturday's my 51st birthday and I'm thinking about a 51 mile ride to celebrate.  I haven't ridden 50+ miles since 2009, so it will be a challenge.

Have a great week everyone!

I made my 2nd peachy week but it was tough.  Didn't get in as much time Friday as I wanted.  Today I wanted more time but because of yadda yadda, my OWS today is my only thing.  Going to try to get some stretching and other exercises in.

Fell during my run and started to come home early.  But no, I was p.o. and cutting it short wasn't an option.  Ended up with 8 miles.  Now I've got to take some drugs so I won't be too sore to move later.  But I'm still peachy.  Tomorrow may be a different story when I find out how bad I hurt.

Got in a nice swim and bike today, this may be one of the longest peach streaks I have had. Knock on wood but work and life haven't interfered with my streak yet this month.

swim and run today

Here's to a happy peachy weekend everyone!

WTG!!!!  Good job on swim and run.

Today is the first day that I did all 3 parts of a tri - although only small parts.  We had practice for our tri and the OWS was 400 - 450 yards.  Biked only a little way and realized I was alone and didn't know the course.  Returned to the site, saw the running group heading out, transitioned fast (which is easy since I don't have clipless pedals), and joined the run group for the 5k.  Fun but absolutey exhausting since I got no downtime because my mother came to town and son had baseball game.

How did everyone's weekend go? Did we all keep em peachy?

Had a lackluster trainer ride tonight but enough to qualify for a peach. 3 straight weeks for me, gotta keep it up!

Made it thru the 3rd peachy week.  This week will be tough for me.  Need to rest for my tri this weekend.  Wasn't going to do the 5am run this morn but someone new asked to join me and I couldn't say no.

You are still loved even after missing a peachy week.  Keep coming back and just finish the month strong.
