Nothing brings a country to it's knees faster than the threat of a hunger strike... in another country. http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-26626204 That's funny....and sad. I guess they are pretty frustrated. http://planefinder.net/It's crazy and I can't imagine the anguish those families are going through. However when they yell and scream at the authorities I can't help but think "what the heck are they supposed to tell them". If nobody in the world knows anything then it's kind of hard to "keep you up to date". |

That's what someone at work was spouting off.....if that's the case, they stop in water.....I'm sure of it. Edited by Left Brain 2014-03-18 3:48 PM |

This was shown in a very scary scene in the movie Castaway where the running engine was chasing Tom Hanks through the water. |

Master 4101 Denver | Subject: RE: Missing Malaysian 777 Originally posted by tuwood I also saw that in a documentary I watched called Lost about some survivors of a plane crash. After the crash one of the detached engines was running for a while and sucking people up, although it did explode eventually.

Rolls designs them to run in water. They use them to propel submarines... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=faDWFwDy8-U |

I tried watching Hemmer give a timeline report of the flight yesterday online. I made it about 67 seconds before i realized that commercial airplane flight and everything associated with it is a big unknown to this man. It was clear to me at the 67 second mark that the only thing he really knows and understands about flight is that you get free drinks in first class, the rest is magic. |

In other words, the most factual report to date. The CNN comments are superb though. Makes me want to invest more in Alcoa, the tinfoil market is on an exponential expansion. |
