He killed the whole bike...off in 5:24:30 (20.71mph ave)!!!  Sounds like that's the lower end of his goal so go get that run!!

I just talked to DMW on the phone. He looks great coming off the bike and is ready for a strong run! She said the run is his strength.

Judging by the bike splits and this being his 3rd century ride of the YEAR I would say he is doing quite well.  I would also hazard to guess that he didn't have to stop and help a fallen rider out on the course.  He has had to do that a couple of times this year as well.  The real test will be how his nutrition plan works for the run.  Every IM run has been compromised by GI issues.  Lets hope the new plan works for him... he deserves an event free race for a change.

Nope Jim is doing fine:

His first bike split is listed at 10 mph and there was no middle split, so I assumed (I know I shouldn't do that :0 )that he was having troubles.  My bad!

Starting to think the deal Ironman just signed with Universal Sports was not such a good idea.  How hard can it be to have a feed up a few times a year.  I know highschool kids that have blogs ten times better then this.  Come on I NEED MY IRONMAN FIX!!!!!!!!
