Is the run to T1 really long?  I'm noticing much higher times here than Louisville.

I'm tracking several out there today.  Looks like most of them are out of the water.  I'm going to head out and get my run in while their on the bike.  Be back in a jiffy (well, however fast I can do my LSD)!  This is so exciting!

Alright folks! I'm just quickly checking in from Madison. I saw Whizzzzzzzzz from afar this morning and she looked focused and had her game face on (with a smile, of course). Caught a glimpse of MontyZooma cruising down the helix on his bike in good spirits as well.

It's absolutely beautiful out here today but I anticipate it getting pretty hot in the afternoon. Little to no wind, as well.

I've been posting a few pictures and updates via twitter for those of you who are interested...
twitter.com/runningjayhawk ...have a few posted from the swim start already!

It's definitely a great day to become an Ironman!!!

Is there anyone who would be willing to text message or call me when they see my husband's final bike split and rank posted? (steven_lohmann #520 and I'm looking specifically for his division rank off the bike)  I'll be out on the run course by then so I won't have access.  He should be in between 5h20min to 5h40min, depending on how his ride goes.

Two people to call/text me would be ideal.  I have some people back home who should call, but they might not be super timely, and I'm an anxious type of person.  I'd like a backup and I know you guys are on the ball.  Let me know if you can help and I'll PM you my number.

Everyone I saw out there was looking good. 1TT was slow out of the swim, but was all smiles on the bike course...he'll make up time there. It's a great day to be an Ironman!

Me either.  I've tried both links and neither one has worked for me.
