How is it that your post count is only 261? :P

Mediating is easy...sitting back, with my hands crossed & feet up is even easier.  I could have done that within my first 10 posts.  I didn't, figuring someone might pull the newbie card  Oh well, fresh meat!

Hi team!  This is me being fashionably late to the party!

After spending December moving and not having internet access in the house until this week, I really need some BT conversation!  Any wonder why Dee put me on this team?

Oh, and I did no training in December, so I guess I should do some of that in January.  I'll go figure out my goals now.

KOM - 2009-12-31 7:02 PM Okay I am caught up. I think Tri Pasty Whites might be good...or Pasty White Tris.

Instead of the "Plain White Tees" we could be the "Plain White Tris"

Oh boy!  Taser time, here I come!!!!  Is it still considered punishment if you enjoy it?

Some people are motivated by fear, others by pain, and some by pleasure.... Whatever works for you, works for me. For Kristen (Enders_Shadow), we could probably tie a glass of red wine about about a foot in front of her, and she'll set a new running record for the month. (Actually, that would work with Erica too. But so far, Erica hasn't signed up this month. Hm.) I'm not sure yet what motivates me. Oh wait, I know -- anything with chocolate. LOL
Hush, Dee. Just 'cause it's true...
Well, we know that a glass of good red wine will motivate you. And Erica, too. Except that she gets a headache the next day.

Nope, no headache from wine....just nasty rum that I shall never touch again!!

Hi Team - Happy to be on Team 1 with you all.  I just completed my last trainer ride for 2009 and for the Vixens - not as good a view as my friend in Boston, but I am in front of a big screen TV.....

I will be getting those goals together soon and getting started.  For those who don't know me, I am Tracy a stay at home mom to two kids (old enough that I should be working).  I started Tri's in 2008 and only was able to do one last year due to knee surgery.  I am going big and going to try a HIM in July of 2010.  We'll see if I can make it - finishing is the only goal at this point!

So, Happy New Year to you all!  I think rum might be the drink of choice this evening!

Yeah!  So glad you are gonna aim for the HIM!!

ETA: reach for the stars toppage!

Happy New Year guys!

I'm old...I went to bed at 9:30 w/o proper hydration.  I was exhausted and just didn't feel the need to stay up.  So, I guess I'll sample our beer today while watching football.

But first I have mass at 9:00 (this is your friendly reminder to all my Catholic BTers that today is a Holy Day of Obligation), a short run (3.5 miles), and a few other errands.

Happy New Year!!!

I was asleep on the couch long before midnight, so I was up early and on the trainer.  One bike session done!  Good way to start the new year.

Now I'm going to watch the snowflakes outside for awhile, then I've got more boxes to unpack.

Oh, and in the spirit of post-padding and being chatty...

I finished my grading, so I got all kinds of time to post things. WHOO HOOO!

Were you drinking while grading?

It's actually much more enjoyable that way.

Happy New Year!

We didn't make it to midnight either.

I did 25 miles on the rollers this morning. I would have preferred to be outside but I'm afraid the roads might still be icy.

Happy New Year All!!!I also didn't last until midnight. But I was well rested for our annual polarbear plunge at noon today. We made some snow angels too. Did go to the y later and put 40 minutes on the expresso bike. I am using a borrowed MAC and can't figure out how to upload pics. Might have to switch to the work laptop. Arghh....computer hell is making me a very frustrated person these days.

Happy New Year Team 1 (we really need a name...).  Didn't get to bed until 1:30....  got up at 7:00 to go ride - except it was 22 deg outside.  Relaxed for a while..  then did a 38 mile CT ride and a 2.1 mile run....  Day 1 of 31 days of running done...  Off to update the spreadsheet...

Happy New Year!  Started 2010 off with an easy spin on the trainer.  Coming off of 2 weeks of flu, so it felt good to do *something.*

OK, so I think I saw the following names mentioned:

The Pasty White Triathletes
The Tightie Whities
The Winter Whites
Tri Pasty Whites
Pasty White Tris
Plain White Tris

Or maybe....
Frozen Margaritas (for the alcoholics "drinkers" on the team.
Snow Bunnies (since it reminds me of all the Peeps teams. LOL)

Or... well, anyone else have other ideas? Or should we pick one of the above ones?
