Not sure what you're envious of - I think your bike is awesome, I love blue bikes!  It's nice to see something that isn't red/black/white.  Not that those aren't pretty but LOVE the color of your bike.  I've never heard of Griffen.

Well thanks!  I love the color...that's by far my favorite part.  I'm envious of the beautiful looking aero, carbon, big boy bikes.  Not that I don't like mine.  Griffen was a small company (originally from CA, moved to here in TX) that made bikes out of some crazy blend of metals.  They went out of business the middle of last year (when I bought a frame for super cheap)...but they have a small cult following.

I'm thinking I may add some aerobars, a FF seatpost, a rear disc cover and then get refitted for it before IMAZ.  I've been listening to everyones advice that it's better to work on the engine, but I think it's time to buy some speed.

just kidding about that one... here's the real one... still not as fancy as most of you though.

Is that a special seatpost, or a 'regular' one reversed? If a reg reversed, does that achieve the same effect as the  ' fast-forward'  type of seatpost?

It is a regular seatpost that I reversed, one day I was looking at it and thought... hm, that could work.  It is a carbon WRAPPED seatpost, otherwise if it was full carbon I'm not sure if I'd have risked it, but it's been holding up well without any issues.  I used to periodically check it to make sure it wasn't failing and creating a hazard to myself, but it's working out well.  It gives me just over an inch forwards, but I really like it. I attempted to do it to my other bike, but that seatpost doesn't allow for it the way it clamps the seat on, so obviously not all seatposts will even allow something like that.

Still looking for the wheels that look the best on her.
