Master 2005 Silverton, Oregon | Subject: RE: Body Composition Challenge: Swimsuit Edition Happy Friday everyone! I'm down 1.4 lbs this week to 152.2. Was up last week though, so weight loss is going very slow. Waist and thigh measurement were down today, and so was body fat. Heading the right direction. |

I think that I am mostly going to be cheering from the sidelines for this challenge, but will keep it in mind during meals! |

I think that I am mostly going to be cheering from the sidelines for this challenge, but will keep it in mind during meals! I stress ate 2 chocolate chip cookies today and they were worth every calorie. |

I've been through two rounds of these Body Comp challenges, and I had waaaay more bad days than good. I'm just starting to come around! It's taken me this long and challenges to learn some good eating habits. |

Elite 2640 Ontario, Canada | Subject: RE: Body Composition Challenge: Swimsuit Edition Just weighed in - down 1 lb! (It's within my flux zone though.) Today I have some paintball planned and if the weather is good a short ride on my bike to further improve my ability to clip in and out without toppling. |

I too have transgressed on my diet.... traveling back home to Missouri from GA and I stopped at a golden-arched fast food establishment drive-thru and got an icecream/reese's peanut butter cup concoction... I then had a sudden urge to go inside to use the bathroom and left said transgression in my truck with my dogs.... although most of it was left, my girls did their best to protect me from my dietary mistake... they were only trying to help. |

I think that I am going to get a quick run in and then get a weigh-in in. Congrats to the losers! Best of luck to everyone. |

Regular 137 Lansing, Michigan | Subject: RE: Body Composition Challenge: Swimsuit Edition Weighed in today on a different scale. Shows me to be about the same as before 200.5 (down 5lbs from last challenge, but the same as last week). I imagine that there shall be much slimming from all of the tri-training that is coming my way. |

Science Nerd 28760 Redwood City, California | Subject: RE: Body Composition Challenge: Swimsuit Edition Weight loss is going to be pretty tough for me for awhile. I found out yesterday that I need to increase my thyroid medication because my thyroid levels are really low again. So, I figure if I don't gain anything and can lose a tiny bit now, I'll be ahead of the game. |

Champion 14677 | Subject: RE: Body Composition Challenge: Swimsuit Edition I need to just NOT weigh myself after a full day of hard manual labor. I retain way too much water and it is depressing. I need to put the scale away until my official weigh in day. |

Master 1480 Southwest Chicago 'burbs | Subject: RE: Body Composition Challenge: Swimsuit Edition On Friday (my official weigh-in day), I was up just a touch, but that wasn't unexpected since I've been celebrating Easter (candy) for a full week now. Surprisingly enough, though, I managed to drop a bit over the weekend -- finally getting back to normal workouts after the long bout of ick is probably helping. Here's hoping I can keep this up! |

I see you're doing P90X. How are you liking it? I'm working on Insanity now but I'm interested in doing P90X this fall. Yes, it's hard! Not impossible, but hard if you push yourself. I wasn't starting from zero. I was hitting the gym and working on my strength since about mid March. I'm seeing improvement in my reaction time in my soccer game from the plyos. I can see muscle development all over my upper body. Being a soccer player, I've never concentrated much on that part of my body. My core is stronger. I'm loving it! Only three weeks in. I can't wait till I'm done to see what I can do on the racing a soccer scenes with my new stronger, fitter self. Edited by Blanda 2012-04-17 4:17 AM |

Plyo will make you a mean soccer player. Keep pushing it (bring it). How did you like yoga? |
