Hey everyone! I couldn't wait to see how we are doing so I went just updated our spreadsheet, and our team has on average achieved 24.89% of our goal so far!  We have run 190.86 miles as a team - we are doing awesome!! Jbadger could use some encouragement though, so shoot on over and send him some inspires! We need everyone to hit their goals so we can WIN and avoid posting our butts!!!

We have one of the shorted threads, but that is because we are all out running.  Lets get that team above us!

Well, just to be a team player I am upping my goal from 40 to 50. I have an 8 mile run scheduled for this Saturday and a nine mile race scheduled for next Saturday so I think I can afford the extra miles.

I'm seriously considering running a 10 mile trail race on Saturday.  Am I insane?  I've never run that far before and never off-road.

Trail running can be quite hard! If there is a lot of elevation gain, or if it's a trail with rocks/roots/etc, it might be a hard undertaking.

If you do, the one thing I learned from some trail running I did last year was that it's very important to PICK UP YOUR FEET, especially when you get tired. Or else, you'll trip over a rock/root or something and fall on your face (like i did!!)

good luck!!!

Its too cold and rainy this weekend.  Make sure y'all stay out of that weather and logging miles.  And treadmills?  Blech!  Take it nice and easy.  You deserve it.  No, really, you do.

Love,

A concerned BTer not in the challenge on a team that might be competing against you.

I am not worried about ant bad omens coming along.

I have a half marathon in the morning, that will put me at more than 50% for the month.  It will actually put me at 67% for the month.  Not bad for being day 14 of 31.
