I would just like to share with the group that I tried a new delicacy last night - chocolate covered bacon.  Mmmmm, bacon...

Only one piece - I was good and only bought/ate one piece.

For some reason, those 2 tastes do not go together for me.  Maybe it's the whole vegetarian thing

#truestory

Bac-Os?

x3 on the vegetarian, but I can see the salty/fat + chocolate being a tasty mix.

hahahaha... Bac-Os. Saltiest bits of fried soy flour EVER!

And that's what makes them so good!  Have no idea if they taste anything like what they're supposed to be copying.  I guess that's veggie naivete for ya.

My husband laughs about that all the time.

I figure they can't be too bad tasting in comparison since my kids eat meat and veggie stuff almost interchangeably.

While you're at it, you should get some french-fried onions.  You'll be able to get your sodium quota for the month in 1 sitting!

Not too long ago I got some intending them for green bean casserole.  They never made it into a casserole, that's for sure!

Got out paddling for the first time last night!

If you look close, you can see the seal who popped his little head up

I got to get to Sea Land. I’m selling five of their sickest seals to a third world zoo.

I did scrap an outside run today. Wind has kicked up so much dust that I couldn't see outside of the development...BAD breathing. It even blew a little bird into our back door. I hope it recovered quickly because one of our dogs loves pouncing on small animals.

On a happy note...I felt so good after yoga that I put in some swim time Trainer later.

Here's my race report from my 5k last night.  It was great to get out and do just a 5k.  My lack of run training was a limiter, but my 22:12 shows that I have the potential to run pretty quick when I get back to a regular running schedule.

Too flippin' cute!!  Is that a furry disk toy, not a cone of shame?  Regardless of whether it's a cone or a toy, she does not look amused!

Ummm, let me think, nope, no clue on where the green paint brush is

Caption:  I found 9 month old Bart the boxer on the couch like this. When I asked if he had any idea what happened to the green paint brush, he contemplated and decided, no, he had no idea. But would get back to me if he came up with anything.

Find a mentor. Make a list of at least three people that you could approach for help, list your specific needs and then be courageous enough to begin asking.
