What time did Tony get home?  I know I dropped him off basically in one piece at 4:15 but apparently the flight was delayed?

Yep, it was delayed by a couple of hours.  I *think* he got home somewhere around 1:30/2am?  Then again, I was asleep until he got in so I really don't know.

To the best of my knowledge he's still in one piece, but I'm sure he wishes he had a caffeine IV handy for today.

Chatted with him today.....he said he's about 80% and wanting to nap.

I texted his wife during the race (not like in the WWCOJD thread or anything) and told her to tell him "16:37" as his time to beat. She texted me back "I just told him to 'Beat Brad' and that seemed to encourage him".

I told him that his journey wasn't complete until the tattoo went on.

I'm sure he'll jump on here in a bit...once he wakes up.

More facts from the longer life survey. If you have sex 3 or more times per week, sit less than 3 hours per day, and your index finger is longer than your ring finger, odds are in your favor that you will live 2 years longer than the average. If not- your name might as well start with D.

Hi TAN,   I am alive and well....alive.

How in the hell can we still be on the same TAN?  Has everyone been training realy hard?

My new job is a lot and seeing a lot of the states quickly.  Not a lot of time at a desk these days, in addition I am having a serious pity party for myself as my disc has re-slipped and knocked that nerve out of the junction again.  Been a painful couple of weeks but narrowing down on surgeon to help me get better :-)

So what did I miss?  Marriages? Babies? Lotto winners?

Hey FNG Cheri!
Nothing new, except a few of us did some Iron-distance races. I think jford is getting an "I beat Brad" tattoo to commemorate. Sorry to hear about your back again - yuck!

And this job is actually expecting me to do stuff.  If only they would pay me to just sit around and TAN like the rest of you slackers.  Tongue out

Training our bodies to work efficiently in Zone 2 will help us keep our HR and pace even throughout an Ironman. This theory would hold true for the bike and run portion of an Ironman race.
