Only $45 if I sign up before December 26. That fits into my marathon training plan nicely. DOOOOO EEEEEEEET P.S. How's the rainbow phlegm going? Hopefully not so much anymore ... Less rainbow, more clear! Definitely a sign that the infection is clearing up. Sorry if that's TMI. My husband thinks it's weird that I look at phlegm colors, but it is a good sign of infection. Planning to just do a long walk on the treadmill this weekend and then start running again next week. I have a 10k scheduled on Thanksgiving, so that will be my long run for the week. I have to go to New Jersey for a wedding over the Thanksgiving weekend. Is there even such thing as TMI in this thread? I was going to ask that, but clearly I don't even know what TMI is. |

Thursday was Muslim New Year here, so as a holiday there wasn't the all-day rush hour logjam and I could go downtown Jakarta to meet one of the core fellow Triathlon Indonesia starters (we now have SIX triathlons in Indonesia, from sprint to iron, and HUNDREDS of triathletes) ... AND ... ... hit the boutique grocery store there ... I bought TWO cartfulls of cereal (cough cough 50 boxes). I got my own personal piglet escort to the car (hard to push two carts at once, especially down people-mover escalators), where our driver piglet and the personal grocery piglet unloaded the goodies. In case you were wondering: -Cheerios (plain, Honey Nut, Yogurt Burst, Banana Nut, Apple 'N' Cinnamon, Multigrain, and Frosted) - Lucky Charms - Apple Jacks - Honey Smacks - Honey Kix - I forget what else. I'm in athleticoma from an 8+ hour trainer ride and tranny run after. Longest ride ever (even than the IM Melb bike course time). - Oh yeah, how could I forget ... Master 3888 Overland Park, KS | Subject: RE: Yanti & Salty Beyond Ridiculous Manatees PART 6--CLOSED TriAya - 2012-11-16 1:13 PM Go Salty! Is Reece actually gonna race? Saw the PT today. I still feel sore on the heel etc. so still on the fence about racing. I might start, see how and feel and if the pain is too much I'll stop. I'm not a big fan of finishing a marathon a whole hour or more slower than I am capable of. This is not a huge event so portions of the course will be quite lonely, nobody to cheer me on while I'm hobbling along etc. I do feel better each day but I was hoping to be feeling better at this point. But I'm not that dissappointed because good lord my running mile went from 77 in September to 164 in October duh! I'm I suprised I have some type of run related ailment, nooooooo! It's all good. I do have a swim meet tomorrow! I'll probably only swim a couple 50's and maybe the 100 IM. I looked at the 50 yard breastroke start heat and it's pretty weak. My PR is faster than the fastest seed time (for ALL age groups) so maybe I can get some swim meet hardware! Of course at swim meets I'm MOP/BOP anyhow so I do it cuz my swim budz are there and we go for beer afterwards. Perfect setup the day before a marathon don't you think? |

On the beer, and the swim meet. Just don't sproing too hard off the starting blocks or the walls. There was only plain Cap'n Crunch, and it was the generic Magic Time one. Some of the MT cereals are very good and dead ringers for the "original;" others, not so much, so I wasn't about to risk a precious cereal slot for something untried. |

Well it sounds like you are on the right track and I am sure you will make the best decision for you. Honestly, whether you race the whole thing or not if you have a beer tomorrow after your swim meet you are golden in every way. |

Why so much? Are you hoarding for the fiscal cliff? Everything is so come and go here. I may never see cereal like that again. I have never seen cereal like that here before. Even if there is some kind of selection (or just one or two good kinds), there may only be one box of it. For example, SOMETIMES Pop Tarts are available here ... then will mysteriously disappear for months. Anyway, it should last me 'til Australia (in 3 weeks, snerk), right? Then I can re-stock there. |

Mmmmmmmm, ginger. I was meant to donate blood today--rushed out of work to make my appt--and then my hemoglobin is too low. I was borderline last time too, so booked appointment with my doc for some bloodwork. Not sure why I would be low; I was anemic years ago, but I was a veggie-tarian at the time. I eat plenty 'o Fe rich foods, so curious... but figured beer would help |
