they were wrapped!  some were white chocolate, YUM.

sold my celica today.  very sad to see her drive away in someone else's hands

Hola TAN - my life SUCKS today.

3pm and I've just NOW been able to grab some lunch.  Booooo to lawyers who don't realize that when I give them reminders for a MONTH to get sh*t done, they should get the sh*t done before the last day they're in town when going on a 2 week vacation to the Galapagos.  Jerks.

Only good thing about today was the maple glazed pumpkin donut this morning.

It's Friday!  The end of the world will have to wait until Monday; I refuse to have it ruin a weekend.

As I walked by the office break room the TV on CNN had "breaking news!" of "Dallas colder than Alaska".

We couldn't drive in our neighborhood until last night, when it finally got above freezing for 4 hours in the afternoon.

My neighbor just moved from Canada (about a year ago) and had his hockey skates on and was skating on the road....and not having any issues.

It's been a crazy few days here in the metroplex.

Crazy!

I bet the RD had some nightmares about ambulances sliding all over the ice...

Amazing how many people jump to "I would run in that!" but forget about all of the other race day logistics that get really dangerous on icy roads.

Sounds like it!

We just got the super cold temps and a dusting of snow/ice. Looks like all of the scenes from District 12 in the Hunger Games around here. Grey everything.

It's cold in Tucson. I may move back to the Sunshine State.

The next job/living location search will be happening next fall! Though, I may come back to AZ. We'll see.

Tony and I have been playing the "where do we want to live next" game for about a year now... and that conversation seems to come up most often during the cold months.  Right now I have no idea where we'll end up, but hopefully within 2 years or so, we'll be in a place that has a LOT less of this whole winter thing going on.

I like having all four seasons. But to be honest I only "like" this "mandatory- bundled up-in-a-hoodie-under-a-blanket-sitting-by-the-fire-eating-soup-every-night" kind of weather for about 1 or 2 weeks. Then I really want spring to come!

My mom is basically begging me to move home - or at least back east. I'm happy here - but I'm going to spend some time figuring it out after my next Army school. My dog will be in PA, and my stuff will be in storage, and my job contract will be up - so as long as I find a job and a Guard unit - I'm free to go wherever.

I don't mind having some winter, but I can enjoy that in many different states, but without a lot of the ice and snow.   Most of the places in the U.S. still have seasons, just not -20 wind chills in December with snow on the ground.  I grew up in Iowa, but really thinking about relocating to a warmer climate after the wife gets here BSN and MSN.  As I near the dreaded 50, I don't handle the cold as well as I used to and would prefer to be outside most of the time.

Just had two contractors in the condo to do bathroom estimates. One was ontime and quick, the other was late and took a while but was way nicer. I fear both are going to come int oo high!

Why oh why can't your Clowns hold a lead? That.was.painful to watch the choke.

I think I hate the Patriettes more than the Browns.

Ummm, because we're Cleveland.  We have to play the other team, the refs, and our own ineptitude.  That is a LOT to overcome on a consistent basis.
